The Bungle Bungles, or Purnululu wasn’t discovered until 1983, when airborne treasure-seekers, in the form of a documentary crew filming 'Wonders of WA' unearthed the spectacular striped jewellery we know as the Bungle Bungles.
These fragile formations (a landform found in just a few spots in the world) were created as water eroded the Bungle Bungle Range over the past 20 million years – a relative twinkle in the earth’s geological eye. From the air or from a distance some look like little pyramids or the turrets of ancient castles

The morning at the bungle bungle was bright. If yesterday saw the magnificence of the mountain range, today's journey will be a trek to the deepest of the Bungle Bungle Mountains. I decided to go to the cathedral gorge among several trekking courses. From early morning, the footsteps of the trekking people are lively. How was the trek? Keep up, I really like it. The huge rock that looks like a honeycomb is sandstone. The apparent black and orange layers are due to geological activity that lasted for 20 million years. The black layer is the color of the period when the ancient microbes are dying of moisture and the orange layer is the color of the period of no moisture and now becomes the iron oxide component. I walked for an hour and arrived at the opera hall, the last place on the cathedral course. I was surprised at the size and surprised at the stillness. It looks like a rounded opera theater and is called opera hall. When people speak or sing, it is said that a good resonance occurs. The Diva of the Opera Hall today seems to be probably two little ladies. Do you want to sing? Did you decide which song to sing? The shouting voice of the shy but sweet little boys cleanse the exhausted traveler's fatigue. I'm really into this place. I'm trying to see this whole thing, but it's not easy. And it 's amazing how long this place is and how long it is. Good pictures are good, but it is best to look at it like this. I have to come and see you.

Who We Are:
Our little family is made up of Remi (Papa/Daddy), Lauren (Maman/Mummy) , Gabrielle and Olivier. We are an international family and together we have 4 nationalities; Canadian, Australian, French and Bajan.
We love the outdoors, nature, camping, travel and lots of adventure! We have been traveling with Gabrielle since she was 6 weeks old when we did her first camping trip as a family.
We sold all of our belongings, gave up our jobs and headed out to explore the world as a family. Traveling full-time is not always sunshine and rainbows. It’s challenging and hard. It takes lots of organization and preparation but at the end of the day we have
memories in our heads rather than things in our pockets ... and that’s what we love!
Since having Gabrielle, we have traveled Australia, Morocco, France, Spain, Switzerland, China and Canada. In her first year of life she has traveled through 5 continents of the world and we don’t intend to stop.

Purnululu National Park is famous for its mountain range rocks Bungle Bungle range resembling the hives. Over 20 million years, these hills of sandstone forces of nature turned into a surreal maze of orange cones, decorated with black stripes and multi-colored highlights. The name Purnulu in the language of the Australian aborigines means sandstone. Unique rounded rock towers consist of a mixture of sandstone and coarse pebbles and cobbles. Striped mountain of steel due to erosion. The dark bands are more permeable to the algae that bloom on the surface, bright consist mainly of iron and manganese species that are not amenable to external influence and have a bright orange hue. Bungle Bungle-- as its original name, is a corruption of bundle-bundle, which means grass. During the rainy season the Australian Aborigines cue used these unusual rocks as shelters. Not surprisingly, this rugged system consisting of gorges, ravines, cliffs, domes and natural mountain ranges, has evolved into a real gallery of petroglyphs.
