Burleigh Falls - Fishing Spots Ontario
An amazing place for shore and boat fishing.
You have spot with fast waters for the more experienced fisherman and slow water for great counting and kids action.
We had most success with worms for Sunfish, Big Month Bass and White Head. We also get some success with fake bait fir Bass.
Burleigh Falls is both a geological feature and a small community in Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada.
Please note that the location is a fishing sanctuary. Fishing is allowed from late May to November.
There is a boat station north of the falls. That should give you access to the amazing clear lake.

Here are some answers to the questions that I get asked most often! If you have any others don't be shy to ask. Love you guys!
1. Where do you live?: I am based in Edmonton, Alberta & was born & raised in Peterborough, Ontario ... Canada ;)
2. What do you do for a living?: TL Travel is my very own business built by yours truly from the ground up. I love to share my passion for travel with others & I both plan & lead trips abroad. Find more information on the business at tltraveltrips.com or tltravel.ca
3. How do you make money?: Again, all of my income is currently through TL Travel (not youtube.) The content that I create is simply to share my passion with all of you, but of course I am always open to collaborations & other related opportunities.
4. What editing program do you use?: Premier Pro CS6
5. What camera do you use?: For nicer shots and a lot of my vlogs I film with the Canon 70D. When I am on the road & need a bit more waterproof/ drop proof abilities I film with both GoPro & the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3

6. Did you go to university?: I did. I went to Trent University in Peterborough, Canada & got my BA in Cultural Studies. Everything else unrelated I learned by myself on the internet.
7. How long does it take to edit 1 video?: It is different from one video to another but on average I spend around 2 hours editing each video from start to finish.
8. What are your favorite countries to visit?: I have many favorites but right now Thailand, Nicaragua & Indonesia are at the top of my list of fav.'s
9. What countries are on your bucket list?: New Zealand & India are two that I can't wait to visit one day.
10. What youtubers do you watch?: I watch a ton of different vloggers but Fun For Louis & Raya are 2 of my favorites along with Ben Brown and Craig & Aimee.

「Burleigh Falls 伯利瀑布」位於「Peterborough 彼得堡」區，由於 Lovesick湖和西部的 Lower Buckhorn 湖間的水位落差大而產生波濤洶湧的「Rapid急流」，富含礦物質的水流呈黑褐色，使得跨越其上的大橋堪稱為「Black Water Over the Bridge惡水上的大橋」。為了湍流不適航行，造成早期安省中部木材皮貨運輸上的交通障礙，因此，1887年特地在北端建一28號「Lock水閘」，讓船隻得以繞過瀑布，藉著水閘控制水量，確保有足夠的水讓船隻通過190米的渠道繼續使用386公里長的「Trent Severn Waterway 運河」路線前行。該地有特殊的花崗岩景觀及眾多的島嶼，穿梭林間，跳躍岩上，別有情趣。

Fish Feeding at Burleigh Falls, Ontario
Decided to try and feed some fish with some bread and watermelon as a test. Although lots of fish came around, most had no interest in the bread, especially the watermelon.

Water from Lower Buckhorn Lake drains to Stony Lake through a short river about 100 meters in width. Flowing over a broad expanse of bedrock, the river eventually breaks into several different small falls and chutes that wind around a half dozen islands at the lower reaches of the river. The falls are no more than 2 metres in elevation, but can be quite powerful where the river constricts to just a few meters in width. During lower flows children may be seen swimming safely in the small plunge pool at the base of the falls. (start.ca)
