While I was in Australia, I traveled from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, the Surfers Paradise. The place to be! I took the train in Brisbane, up until the Gold Coast where I was picked up by a contact I made online. We went to Burleigh Beach Heads by car, where I was picked up by another contact I met online.

My name is Kim O'Connell. For the last six years we've wanted to open and oversee a health and wellbeing market on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast Farmers market embraced the idea of a health section within the market. We're two separate markets that work together and we share the same space in the school and the hall that you're walking through is dedicated to health and wellness.
So certified organic food, raw rood. We've got a yoga class going on over there.

So stall holders and shoppers get a complimentary yoga class with every purchase. You can go and fit in a yoga class if you wish.
The gentleman teaching the class was a bricklayer and he damaged his back and that's what made him become a yoga teacher.
The best raw food on the coast is here in this space.
This whole hall is dedicated to helping people taking control of their health and wellbeing.
We've also got practitioners in here that can take your health to a whole new space.
We also focus on farmers. So any farmers in the region that need a shopfront we sponsor for a month so they can be showcased here.
I'm Kim from Beelicious Honey. And we had a couple of beehives at home and too much honey so we started selling the honey. And now it's developed into a hobby every Saturday at the market. We sell a few other honeys from other beekeepers now.
Also make cream honey with cinnamon and honey, lemon and honey, lavender and honey.
We also do refills as well so people just bring their own jar back rather than buying a new jar every time.
Hi the Harmony and Life Centre across the road on the Gold Coast Highway. We offer free community events, yoga, and kinesiology, something for everyone.
