Meet up with Derf and family at the train park in Burnaby. Its called the Burnaby Central Railway. Its a scale 1/8th based on the real prototype. We got lucky on this ride as there was a derailment on another train so we got an extra loop around. Ive been here a few times before and always have fun when Im there.

Children's trains? Wait?! WHAT?! Ya got me, they're not just for kids. In fact, I enjoyed them more than my son and daughter did.
Took the family out for a day of full of trains at Burnaby Central Railway at Confederation Park in Burnaby BC Canada on Denver's birthday and shot this video.
This place is a great place to host a child's birthday party. Tons to do and see in this large park.
Burnaby Central Railway is a great place for birthdays or just a day out. Fun for all - children to adults to everyone who loves trains!

Burnaby Central Railway, held their annual Trainfest in August 2008 at Confederation Park, BC., Canada.
Models of Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, Victoria Vancouver and Eastern, Great Northern, Manchester Southern, Sacramento Northern, and Pennsylvania
Visitors from Vancouver Island, USA and New Zealand showed their models.

Burnaby Central Railway Come to Confederation Park and ride the Burnaby Central Railway’s miniature trains. For $3.50 each (kids under 3 are FREE) enjoy a 10+ minute train ride through the beautiful park. You can also get 10 rides for $30. If you, miraculously, don’t use up your 10 rides during the year, save your tokens for the following year. They don’t expire.
With over 2 km of track and 70+ switches every ride you take could be different! Given their druthers, our boys would live at the Burnaby Central Railway all summer long.

11:00 a.m. To 5 p.m. on weekends and statutory holidays, from Good Friday through to Thanksgiving Monday.
Last ride token sales at 4:45 pm !

$3.50 single ride ticket (Good for one 10-15 minute ride.)
$30.00 10 ride passes
The 10 ride pass is a great deal for frequent passengers, and there's no expiry date so you can take your unused rides on your next visit to the park.
Children under 3 years old ride free of charge!

Facility Tour of The Burnaby Central Railway. The Burnaby Central is a Premier 7.5 inch gauge Miniature Railway located in Confederation Park Burnaby, BC Canada. The outdoor layout consists of 3 kilometres of 7.5 gauge ground track with 111 switches (104 manually operated and 5 electrified) one triple switch and one double slip switch.
