Exploring Burnby Hall Gardens! Pocklington!
Exploring Burnby Hall Gardens with my mum & dad! Pocklington is a great little town and Burnby Hall Gardens is a nice place for a walk. So we spent the morning walking around the gardens. There's a nice little rockery, a small aviary with colourful birds & a large pond just to name a few. If you like the video give it a thumbs up & leave a comment. May in Burnby Hall Gardens
I have visited Burnby Hall Gardens in Autumn and again in the Summer when the Water Lilies are at their best so this visit was in May when their Tulip Festival is held. Some of the Tulips were getting quite a battering from the wind but still lovely to see all the different ones. A lot of work is going on in the gardens this year. The Upper & Lower Lakes have been restored and the Aviary was being painted that day also restoration of the Rockery ready to be replanted in Autumn so next year it will be worth another visit to see how it all finished.

The Gardens at Burton Agnes Hall
OK for children and family viewing OK for children and family viewing Part two of a visit to Burton Agnes Hall in mid June is of the Walled Garden that lies south of the Hall. The displays there change with the seasons with many different paths to walk and view from. Herbs, flowers and shrubs as well as fruit and vegetables are planted in beds and at the far end of the Walled Garden are a number of smaller gardens laid out with giant board games with seating areas. After a walk through the Jungle Garden we leave the Walled Garden to see the Classic Pond that is very pretty with statues and water lilies, The water feature is of a large rotating ball floating on the water.
