Busan Cultural Center and Busan Museum, South Korea
Busan Cultural Center is one of the representative cultural arts institutions in Busan and hosts a diversity of concerts, dances, plays, and other performances. It boasts international conference facilities and is a center of operations for seven different metropolitan arts organizations including the philharmonic orchestra, traditional orchestra, chorus, dance company, theater company, philharmonic youth orchestra, and the boys & girls chorus.
The Busan Museum, offers seven regular exhibition rooms spread over three floors in addition to the Kiln Exhibition Hall, and the Outdoor Exhibition Hall. Opened in 1978, the museum has taken on a leading role in preserving traditional culture in Busan by obtaining a wealth of relics from strong excavation efforts, generous donations and purchases, and by meticulous research.
Both location are in Busan just beside the UN Memorial Cementery. I haven't seen these locations included on any tour in South Korea so maybe I was the first Filipino to do a vlog about these places but unfortunately the two places are closed when I get there so I just borrowed images from the korean tourism website and I hope you can appreciate the effort I did here.

Trying UNIQUE KOREAN STREET FOOD in Gamcheon Cultural Village - Busan, Korea
Come join us as we visit colorful Gamcheon Cultural Village in Busan, Korea to try unique Korean street food. Visiting Gamcheon Culture Village (감천문화마을 - 甘川文化마을) is one of the most popular areas to visit for tourist given that it offers incredible views, fascinating colorful architecture and winding hilly streets. It is also an okay place to try Korean street food in Busan.
David's channel:
In terms of the Busan street food we had the following items:
1) Bungeo-ppang (붕어빵) - Fish-shaped battered waffle with sweet red-bean paste inside
2) Hot Bar (핫바) - Deep-fried fish paste with various sauces on top
3) Korean melon chamoe (참외) - also known as the oriental melon
4) Frozen beer - beer with a malt like frozen soft serve on top
5) Jellies with chocolate sauce and peanut/soy bean toppping
After checking out some great vantage points located in Gamcheon Cultural village we walked a bit and then hopped into a cab trying some craft beers at Galmegi brewing company. Overall, this was some of the worst Korean street food I've ever had but still an interesting experience.

Trying UNIQUE KOREAN STREET FOOD in Gamcheon Cultural Village - Busan, Korea:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
Our most recent trip was to South Korea where I embarked upon a two-week adventure without Audrey. Invited as part of a YouTube vlogging trip, organized by KTO, I spent the first week traveling with other YouTubers in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My second week included independent exploration of Korea with my good friend and fellow YouTuber David of DavidsBeenHere.
Having lived and traveled in South Korea, the chance to return to one of my favorite countries was one of the biggest surprises of 2019. On this particular trip, I had an opportunity to do many things I had not previously covered including a visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between South Korea and North Korea), a Buddhist Temple Stay and a Korean cooking class. It was almost as if the program designed by KTO knew exactly what I had missed out on before.
Obviously, a huge highlight from the two weeks I spent revisiting Korea was the food. I feasted on all of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean barbecue, dolsot bibimbap, haemul pajeon, tteokbokki, bulgogi, kimbap and many others. I can honestly say that Korean food is world-class and is one of my top 5 favorite cuisines in the world. Aside from trying familiar dishes, I had the opportunity to sample raw Korean seafood for the first time.
While visiting Seoul, highlights included going to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Seoul Tower, Jogyesa Temple and Hongdae. As one of the biggest cities in the world, I barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seoul.
Spending extended time in Busan was my favorite part about the trip with top highlights including a Korean temple stay, fresh fish markets and a Korean baseball game. It was from Busan that we ended up taking a day-trip to Daegu where we enjoyed a traditional Korean market and tried Galbi-Jjim for the first time.

►Naver Maps:
[Naver Maps] is very useful in South Korea.
Busan (Korean pronunciation: [pusan]), formerly romanized as Pusan and now officially Busan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's second most-populous city after Seoul, with a population of over 3.5 million inhabitants.[3] It is the economic, cultural and educational center of southeastern South Korea, with its port—Korea's busiest and the fifth-busiest in the world [a]—only about 190 kilometers (120 mi) from the Japanese islands of Kyushu and Honshu. The surrounding Southeast Economic Zone (including Ulsan and South Gyeongsang) is South Korea's largest industrial area.
Busan is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county, together housing a population of approximately 3.6 million. The full metropolitan area, the Southeastern Maritime Industrial Region, has a population of approximately 8 million.[5] The most densely built-up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong and the Suyeong Rivers, with mountains separating most of the districts. The Nakdong is Korea's longest river and Busan's Haeundae Beach is also the country's largest.
Busan is a center for international conventions, hosting APEC in 2005. It is also a center for sports tournaments in Korea, having hosted the 2002 Asian Games and FIFA World Cup. It is home to the world's largest department store, the Shinsegae Centum City.[6] Busan was added to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Film in December 2014.
Busan Station is a train station in Busan,[1] southeast South Korea, and the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Line, the most important railway line in the country, which links Busan with Seoul in just under three hours,[2][3] using the KTX line (Korea's high-speed rail system).

Gamcheon Cultural Village, Busan South Korea
Gamcheon Cultural Village is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname of Machu Picchu of Busan. The many alleys cutting through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.

Gamcheon Culture Village (Korean: 감천문화마을; Hanja: 甘川文化마을) is a town of Gamcheon-dong, Saha District, Busan, South Korea. The area is known for its steep streets, twisting alleys, and brightly painted houses, which have been restored and enhanced in recent years to attract tourism.[1] In order for the village to be reborn as a cultural hub, the Saha District received funding from various government offices for the purpose of urban regeneration. After painting its walls with a fresh coat of paint and placing works of arts throughout the area, the village was given its new name. The renovation efforts reached their peak with the success of the “Empty House Residency Preservation Project.” The village has been reborn as Busan’s most colorful and artistic spot.[2]
The Village was built during the 1920's and 30's, when Busan's city administration decided to relocate its poor Korean population from the hillside into an area that was not visible to the port, but local enough to provide labor. [3] By brightly painting their houses, the residence have turned the village into one of the most featured tourist attractions in Busan. [4] Because it was built on such a steep mountain-side slope, the Village has been nicknamed the Machu Picchu of Busan.[5]

KTX Korean BULLET TRAIN Economy Class REVIEW + Korean Breakfast | Seoul to Busan, South Korea
On the morning of my sixth day in South Korea, my boy Sam and I took the KTX, the Korean Express bullet train, to Busan, the second-largest city in the country. Come along with us as I give my review of the KTX train’s economy class and enjoy a mind-blowing Korean breakfast!
FEATURED TRAVELER:
Sam:
We started our day at Seoul Station, where we found a woman selling gimbap hand rolls and other foods like mochis! I bought a hand roll for 2,000 won/roughly $1.65 USD. It was the best breakfast ever! I loved the vegetables and pork and was the perfect thing to have at 5:30 in the morning!
Once inside Seoul Station, we saw lots of grab-and-go shops on the first level. There are restaurants on level 2, but we didn’t have time. I recommend booking your KTX train tickets 4-5 days in advance if you plan on traveling on the weekend. We decided to leave for Busan at 6 a.m. so we’d get a full day to explore the city.
One ticket cost 59,800 won, or just under $50 USD, which is about half the price of the Japanese bullet trains. It’s really efficient and quicker than flying.
Seoul Station is the biggest station in South Korea, but it’s still small when compared to the ones in Japan and China. There are 15 tracks and we had about 15 minutes until we had to catch our train.
When you go to Korea, remember to be on time for your trains. They leave five minutes after they arrive and will not wait for you. Once you leave the main hall, you’ll get to the tracks. Our track was number 4 and there were no delays.
After boarding, I got to check out the train. There’s an area for luggage right inside the car. Korea is really safe, so you don’t have to worry about it! The seats recline and there’s free WiFi onboard. There’s also tons of leg room even if you’re six feet tall like me!
The KTX bullet train started its service in 2004 and travels at speeds up to 190 mph. I slept for about 90 minutes and by the time I woke up, we were 10 minutes from Busan. The ride was super quiet and smooth even though it was filled to capacity. It makes a few stops and takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Outside, there were lots of big, green hills, farming communities, rice communities, and lots of tunnels. I couldn’t wait to get to Busan and eat a huge breakfast!
I was starving once we arrived in Busan! We made it to the main terminal but didn’t want any sweets like doughnuts, so we went to a bibimbap café on the second level. You should always eat the local food as much as possible when you travel!
Sam ordered for us. I got a tuna and kimchi bibimbap, while Sam got a pumpkin and rice porridge. Mine was essentially a rice bowl with tuna, kimchi, seaweed, cucumber, radish, and mushrooms. On the side, I had more kimchi, a root vegetable, and a soup. It’s served in a stone pot, which burns the bottom of the rice and makes it extra delicious!
I added a delicious red sauce and mixed everything together. It was right up my alley and so delicious! I loved the burned rice. It was a nice explosion of flavors and textures, from the tuna to the rice to the crunchy vegetables. I was blown away! It was so tasty and filling!
What an eventful four-hour journey to Busan!
I hope you enjoyed coming with me to Busan on the KTX train! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up, leave me a comment, and subscribe so you don’t miss any of my upcoming travel/food adventures!

Take me to Busan - 12 HOURS IN BUSAN
Our one-day trip in Busan!
We woke up at 4:30AM and reached Seoul Station at around 5AM.
Purchased our Korail Passes on -
Save down the details to your e-ticket! You have to print it out, if you don't own a printer, there is a printing machine at Seoul Station near the information counter.
There is no way to transfer files to print on that computer, you have to sign in to your email and print it out there.
Anyway, after printing, go to the information counter to get your Korail Pass, which you can use it to get the train tickets at the ticketing counter~
So we got our tickets to Busan (7:30AM) and you need to make sure to reach at least 10min before the train departs 'cause it leaves right on time and you need some time allowance to find your seat.
So anyway here's our itinerary for one-day trip in Busan!
We didn't have to rush around and was quite chill during the trip haha.
Busan Station (KTX stops here from Seoul)
- Taejongdae
From Busan Station - Find the bus stop opposite Busan Station, cross the road, it should be down the street.
Take Bus 88 or 101 (it ends at Taejongdae).
- Jagalchi Market / Gukje Market / BIFF Square (They are all at the same area)
From Taejongdae - Take bus from terminal to Nampo Station (nearest station)
Take the metro from Nampo Station to Jagalchi Station.
Exit 7 to Jagalchi Station!
- Gamcheon Culture Village
Take metro to Toseong Station (anyway all these stations are at the same line, line 1)
From Toseong Station, Exit 6, upon exit, walk, right turn, then walk straight all the way till you see hospital on your right.
Take Bus 2 or Bus 2-2 and stop right at Gamcheon Culture Village!
From Gamcheon Culture Village, just take a bus to Toseong Station again, and then metro to Busan Station if you are heading back to Seoul by KTX~~~
That's my itinerary of the day!!!
It wasn't a rush for us and we managed to visit most of the places that we wanted to check out in Busan. For a day, that's pretty good HAHAHA.
Thanks for watching and I hope this helps!!! ^_^
