Busan vlog Day 1: Busan Station, Chinatown, Gukje Market + BIFF Square!(:
The memory card used to store these videos is kind of corrupted so there are some issues with the videos and audio^^;
1st place I went to is Samjin Eomuk! They say it's the oldest Eomuk (fish cakes) maker in Busan. It's located at the Busan Station and nearby is Busan's Chinatown. It was pretty quiet which is kind of a change of pace considering most Chinatowns are loud and crowded.
Then I headed over to the Gukje market, the largest traditional market in Busan. It's huge! It sells all kind of stuff ranging from souvenirs, clothes, snacks, food, etc. The list goes on!
I wandered around, just got lost and ate hotteok and hodu-gwaja. I shopped a lot and ate a freshly baked pumpkin and sweet potato bread! Then went to Janet to a buffet. ????????
After which we just walked around and checked out the BIFF Square. It got its name from the Busan International film festival and the street is mainly dedicated to film.(:

Busan Travel Vlog | 부산 | BIFF Square & Gukje Market
Hey Everyone!
Location: Busan, South Korea
Today I am venturing out for my first look at Busan, Korea! I was really excited to get here as Korea winter can be tough especially in places like Seoul. Because this city is at the furthest south of the Korean peninsula, it was much warmer!
Today we’ll be heading to Gukje Market and the Busan International Film Festival Square. There is lots of yummy Korean street food and great Korean shopping streets! Super excited!
Hope you enjoy this Korea Vlog! Thanks for watching!

Busan Korea Subway Ride & Ticket Buying (4K)
Take a look what a Korea subway train ride was like. We were in Busan, Korea for one day as part of our 14 night Asia cruise in 2018. We took a free shuttle that went from the cruise port to Busan Station, where we took the Busan Subway Line 1 to Jagalchi station to visit the famous market there, and then later visit the Busan Tower & Yongdusan Park.
Here you see how we bought Busan metro All Day Pass subway tickets via a machine (it takes only 1000 won bills) which cost 5000 won per person (about $4.31 USD). There is a money change machine nearby to break down larger bills (we had 10,000 won bills which it did not take as you can see). It was nice to see that the machine supported English. It was also very interesting to see so many shops at the subway area as well.
The locals were friendly and helpful- so if you do run into any problem they would be happy to help you out!
