Buseoksa is a korean famous temple. The temple is in Yeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, and dates back more than a thousand years.
Buseoksa embodies the spirit and history of Buddhism, as well as traditional architectural styles, and it houses many cultural artifacts, all in one place.

[ YeongJu / Huphori / Tongo Mountain / Uljin / in South Korea ]
I have been to Buseoksa Temple, Uljin Hupori, Tongo Mountain Natural Recreation Forest, and Bulyeongsa Temple for 2 days!
I like VLOG, but this time, I hope that I can feel the atmosphere of harmony with nature and the kind of dignity that I saw and felt in person. That's why I edited it mainly for temples and landscapes:)
There are many beautiful natural scenery and temples in South Korea, and I will try to capture many of them. Please watch it!

Korea Blog 2: Buseoksa Temple (부석사)
I took a trip in February to Yeongju city (영주시) to visit my girlfriend's parents. While I was down there, her dad informed me that there was a really old, really cool temple in the city. The name of the temple was Buseoksa (부석사), which roughly translates to Temple of the Floating Rock. The monks at the temple believe that one of the rocks outside of the temple is floating, and have tested this by running water in between the rock and the ground below. The entire family decided to go on the trip and this video is a collection of the video and pictures I took while up there. Yes, I know the quality isn't great.

Buseoksa Temple is located in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.

As the head temple of Korea's Hwaumjong sect, it was first erected by the High Priest Uisang during the reign of the Silla King Munmu.
Buseoksa Temple is a temple where one can experience the characteristics of traditional Korean architecture and it is also the home to five National Treasures and three Treasures.
You can take a breathtaking view of the unique spatial structure, magnificent stone walls, and bold and graceful buildings.

[Arirang Prime] Andong and Yeongju, Korea's spiritual capitals
Walking on Land of Pride
Dany Arens, who is from the U.S., has been living in Korea for 9 years. He is the lead singer of the rock and roll band Used Cassettes. Although it was his attraction to the country's dynamic changes that made him decide to live in Seoul, he knows that the city isn't Korea's true side. He actually was able to see what kind of a country it really is by traveling across it when he first came here. This time he embarks on a journey with his friend Su-ha, who is a photographer. Just like the peddlers in the past who used to travel across the country to find products that would please their customers with their keen eyes and good senses, the two friends recommend places where one can fully experience Korea's true charms.
Andong and Yeongju, Korea's spiritual capitals
Gyeongsangbuk-do has the highest number of traditional houses and villages in Korea. Having carefully preserved the cultural heritages of the Joseon Dynasty, which existed for 500 years from the 14th century, the province is also the hometown of tradition where several head families have taken root for centuries. The two friends head to Yeongju and Andong, cities that both symbolize the Korean tradition. Look for the traces left behind by Confucianism, the underlying foundation of the mentality of Koreans and the norms they live by, at Sosu Seowon and Seonbichon Village. Meanwhile, Imcheonggak House, the birthplace of Lee Sang-ryong who gave up his family wealth as well as the comfortable life of the succeeding grandson of his family to dedicate himself to the independence movement during the Japanese rule, makes one think about the true meaning of noblesse oblige.

Buseoksa Temple (Hangul: 부석사, Hanja: 浮石寺) is a Buddhist temple located near Mt. Bonghwang in Buseok-myeon, Yeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, founded by the prominent scholar-monk Uisang in 676, the 16th year of Munmu of Silla. Buseoksa temple is also well known as the Temple of the Floating Stone.
