Bushehr Province (Persian: استان بوشهر, Ostān-e Būshehr ) is one of the 31 provinces of Iran. It is in the south of the country, with a long coastline onto the Persian Gulf. Its center is Bandar-e-Bushehr, the provincial capital. The province has nine counties: Bushehr, Dashtestan, Dashti, Dayyer, Deylam, Jam, Kangan, Ganaveh and Tangestan. In 2005, the province had a population of approximately 816,115 people.

Siraf Ancient Port, Persian Gulf - Bushehr Province, Iran
Siraf (Persian: سیراف; also Romanized as Sīraf or Bandar-e Sīraf, Bandar meaning Port in Persian) is an Ancient city in the Central District of Kangan County, Bushehr Province, Iran.
Siraf was according to a legend an ancient Sassanid port, destroyed around 970 CE, which was located on the north shore of the Persian Gulf in what is now the Iranian province of Bushehr. Its ruins are approximately 220 km east of Bushire and 380 km west of Bandar Abbas,30 km east from Kangan city.Siraf controlled three ports: Bandar-e-Taheri, Bandar-e-Kangan and Bandar-e-Dayer. The Persian Gulf was used as a shipping route between the Arabian Peninsula and India over the Arabian Sea. Small boats, such as dhows, could also make the long journey by staying close to the coast and keeping land in sight.

بندر گناوه (به انگلیسی: Bandar Ganaveh) یکی از شهرهای استان بوشهر ایران و مرکز شهرستان گناوه است.
بازار گناوه بازار بزرگی است که هر ساله میزبان هزاران نفر از مردم سرتاسر ایران است که برای خرید به این شهر می‌آیند.
گناوه کنونی در ساحل خلیج فارس و میان بوشهر بندر دیلم به فاصله هیجده کیلومتری شرق خور امام حسن واقع است شهرستان گناوه قدیم در یک نیم دایره در جانب شمالی شهر کنونی براین شهر محیط می‌باشد از گناوه قدیم نقاطی باقی‌مانده که امروزه بنامهای تیرسول به معنی شن فشرده و یکپارچه در زبان محلی و عبدامام وتل گوری، تل مناره، بتن؛ و بالاخره تل امام زاده خوانده می‌شود هر یک از این نقاط دارای گذشته‌های دوراست که ویرانی‌های قدیم را درخود جای داده‌است.
اکثر ساکنین گناوه شیعه و اقلیتی سنی هستند.

Bushehr lies in a vast plain running along the coastal region on the Persian Gulf coast of south-western Iran. It is built near the ancient port city of Rishahr (Sassanian, Riv Ardasher).
