Butterfly Garden Ovelekar Wadi Thane

Tucked in a small village in Thane easily accessible by road is Ovalekar Wadi, Mumbai's secret Butterfly Garden.
The park was created by Mr Rajendra Ovalekar who is a professor by day and a gardener during the weekends. There are over 132 species of butterflies you can spot in a space of just two acres. You will be surprised to see the number of Butterflies that are hovering around you.

It is open only on Sundays from 8 am - 12.00 noon. Entry fee of Rs 100/- per head. Mr. Rajendra Ovalekar 9820779729 can be contacted to make arrangement if you are coming from far or with large groups.
