Trams in Bergen, Norway 2018 (Bybanen)
Plans for rail transit have existed since the 1970s, following the 1965 closing of the Bergen Tramway. A rapid transit design was first discarded, and in the 1990s a light rail line was proposed. The decision to start construction was made in 2005. The first stage was built by the municipality, with financing from the state and the toll road ring, based on the Bergen Program. Ownership, maintenance and further extensions and vehicles are the responsibility of Hordaland County Municipality through its wholly owned subsidiary Bybanen AS. ~Wikipedia

Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) Ride: Flesland Airport - Kokstadflaten
On my recent trip to Bergen, my first time in Norway, I had to leave the airport briefly just to say I had ventured beyond it! This is a short clip of a ride aboard Bybanen, the Bergen Light Railway, on a Variotram/Variobahn tram from Flesland Lufthavn (Bergen Airport) to the first stop, Kokstadflaten. Also shows trams departing and arriving at Kokstadflaten. Recorded in 4K resolution on a Google XL Smartphone on Friday 17th August 2018.

Straßenbahn & O-Bus Bergen Norwegen • Tram & Trolleybus • Norway • Bybanen
Aufnahmen von der Straßenbahn in Bergen Norwegen ( Stadtbahn bzw. Bybanen i Bergen ) sowie dem O-Bus im Juni 2016. Die Tram in Bergen wurde am 22. Juni 2010 als Stadtbahn eröffnet und hat heute eine Streckenlänge von 13,4 km. Als Fahrzeuge verkehren Variobahnen von Stadler Rail. Weitere Strecken sind geplant wie z.B. zum Flughafen Bergen. Eine Straßenbahn hatte es bereits von 1897 bis 1965 hier gegeben. Außerdem gibt es in Bergen neben den normalen Busverkehr den O-Bus ( Trolleybus ) sowie eine Standseilbahn für den ÖPNV.
