Coeur d'Alene Idaho Parasail and Watersports Call (208) 765-2999
Come see Lake Coeur d'Alene from an eagle's perspective! Soar 600ft in the air (roughly as high as the Coeur d'Alene Resort), safely harnessed into a parachute! Go by yourself, (solo/single) or bring a friend and go tandem! No experience is necessary for this activity!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: We are located on the Independence Point City Dock, next to the CdA Resort.
Hours: We parasail every hour, on the hour from 10am to 7pm (weather permitting.). Sunday through Friday. Closed Saturday
Okay, so how does it work?: We harness you into the parachute, which basically feels like you are sitting on a swing. We operate a hydraulic winch system, which means flyers take-off and land directly from the back of the boat. Flyers are winched out into the air from the deck, then winched back in after eight minutes of flight. Flyers can be dipped in the water if they would like, however, no need to wear a bathing suit, as you do not get wet if you don't want to. Others waiting to fly will ride along in the boat and wait their turn to parasail.
Length of Ride: Each flyer is in the air for eight minutes and usually out on the lake for up to an hour, depending on the number of flyers in that given boat. We are allowed to take up to 6 flyers out on the boat at a time; a rule which we strictly enforce.
Price-per-flyer: $60 per solo ride, $90 per tandem ride.
Souvenirs: We will take photographs of you parasailing, which can be purchase upon your return to the dock. We also have our signature t-shirts, tank-tops, and sweatshirts available for purchase.
Restrictions: ANYONE can parasail! Last year, our oldest person was a 92 year old lady, we also had a paraplegic parasail, as well as Evil Knievel! (no joke!) There are, however weight restrictions. For the combined weight of a tandem, we can have a maximum of anywhere from 250lbs. up to 350lbs. These same limits also apply to the single flyers and depend/vary directly with the weather.
Payment: We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard and travelers checks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAKING RESERVATIONS IS STRONGLY ADVISED! We also have gift certificates available. If you would like to purchase a gift certificate over the phone, please call (208) 765-2999 with your credit card ready. We will send you the gift certificate.

Coeur d'Alene, USA / Missing You Now-Michael Bolton
(Eng/Pol) Coeur d'Alene is home to the second largest metropolitan area in the state of Idaho. The city is located about 30 mi (48 km) east of the Spokane, Washington, on the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene, 25-mile (40 km) in length. Barbara Walters called the city a little slice of Heaven and included it in her list of most fascinating places to visit. Coeur d'Alene is also located near two major ski resorts, with Silver Mountain Resort to the east in Kellogg, and Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort to the north in Sandpoint. The city is named after the Coeur d'Alene People, a tribe of Native Americans who lived along the rivers and lakes of the region when discovered by French Canadian fur traders in the late 18th century.
