The 4th edition of iLuvCebuInstameet with a theme, Love Our Seas. This time, the iLuvCebu Instameet was held at Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa last April 22, 2017. The event was participated by 50 instagrammers and digital influencers. This edition was into marine conversation and education for the marine environment such as the effect of plastics in the sea and preserving natural habitat for sea creatures and marine life. It was a privileged that Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa has a huge sanctuary for marine resources and conservation, and they called it MaCo's Hub. Shangri La Cebu Mactan Water Park Water Slide. Was a fun 2 days, belle loves to swim and Shangri-La, has one of the biggest pools in Mactan. It is a 5 star hotel located in Mactan cebu philippines shangrila travel. Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa
The resort itself is truly a destination on its own and if you intend to stay in, there is no better resort in the whole island of Cebu. If you tend to enjoy an evening beverage or two and if you do prefer a quieter environment, the Ocean Wing is an obvious choice - you get access to the Ocean Club where complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails are served. The private beach is beautiful and there is even a marine sanctuary where you can snorkel and enjoy the beautiful corals and marine life without venturing too far out into the ocean. If you are based in Singapore and you want an alternative to Bali and Phuket, I simply cannot recommend Cebu enough - especially since there are now more direct flights there than ever.

Mactan is an island located a few kilometers from the island of Cebu in the Philippines. The island is part of the province of Cebu and it is divided into Lapu-Lapu City and the municipality of Cordova. The island is connected to Cebu by the two bridges one of which is the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the Mactan Bridge. The Mactan-Cebu International Airport, the country's second busiest airport is located on Mactan island. The only aquarium attraction in the Visayas is also located on the island.
Mactan island was inhabited by Islamic and Indigenous tribes before Europeans first settled in the island.

Shangri-La Mactan Island Resort and Spa Pool and Beach Cebu. Shangri-La Cebu has two main pools and less than a kilometer of white sand beach front. Tale note the sand is not as powder fine as Boracay and gets deep fast so is good for snorkeling and swimming as lots of fish around. As for the pools the newer pool has been built in front of the Ocean Wing and is closer to the beach.
