This is a place and area in Shenzhen which is a bit more expat-friendly full with bakeries, international foods&restaurants, fashion stores, cinemas, bars & pubs - it's Coco Park! This might be the only place which Shenzhen taxi drivers know in English too: C-O-C-O-P-A-R-K. But it is also well connected to public transporation. Metro lines 1 & 3 are crossing here and soon you can interchange to Asia's largest high-speed railway station built completely underground (Futian Railway Station/福田站) and ride in 12 minutes to Kowloon, Hong Kong or in 8 1/2 hours to the countries capital, Beijing. In this video, I take you out on a typical Saturday night in Futian, Shenzhen.
We went to bar street and went into some of the clubs there. We also visited a really cool bar called Foam Heaven!

As I said in the video I am about to go travelling around China for 2 and a half weeks with my mate Malte.
We're leaving for Shanghai tomorrow, and spending a week there. After Shanghai, we will fly to Xian and stay there for four days. Then we will go to Beijing (via bullet train) and spend another week there!
I can't wait to post so many videos daily about what I get up to in the different places we visit as there will be so much cool stuff to do!

Day 1 Bangkok - Shenzhen
- Taxi to hotel @Shaibu MTR station
Day 2 Sea world – Window of the world – Dongmen
- Sea world plaza: A large avenue mall with giant cruise, full of restaurants.
- Lunch: Chinese hot pot at Faigo hot pot, at sea world plaza
- Window of the world: A theme park located in the western part of Shenzhen, the most famous tourist attractions.
- Dongmen market: A famous night market where you can find various street food, clothes, gadgets and souvenirs.
Day 3 Meridian View Centre – The MixC – Coco park –Splendid China Folk Village - Dongmen
- Meridian View Centre: Observation desk, the window of Shenzhen where you can see 360 degree of Shenzhen city.
- Lunch: The Southern Cook, a famous Chinese restaurant at The MixC
- The MixC, a shopping mall with various brands and many restaurants. There is also a big supermarket if you’re looking for food.
- Coco park, another shopping mall with various brands and restaurants. It’s a big shopping malls where you can spend all day here. There is also a famous milk tea shop, ‘Heytea’, an original brand of ‘Heekcaa’
- Splendid China Folk Village: A cultural village park reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture, customs and habits of various nationalities. It is one of the world's largest scenery parks.
- Dongmen market
Day 4 OCT loft – Guanhai – Dongmen – Bangkok
- OCT Loft: Art gallery, hang out area, or art exhibition area. There are many cafes and restaurants decorated in different styles.
- Lunch at Guanhai Restaurant, a restaurant located on the hill with the fantastic garden. It was beautiful, green and peaceful.
- Dongmen market again, this time we went at day time to buy some souvenirs.
- Flight back to Bangkok
