Nelson BC's CPR shipyard and barge wreck
I just shot some surface footage to finish the footage for this video in March 2017! Thanks to R2 and R3 for all your help! This is a great local shore diving site in Nelson! I shot the dive footage in February 2016.
I made this video specifically for Shaw Cable and their new show starting in April 2017 called 'Community Producers.' Might be my best effort so far with the go-pro? I think so.

WENDY TOOGOOD ARTWORKS 1985 - 2010
This slideshow/movie covers some twenty-five years of Wendy Toogood's work, from about 1985 through 2010. It includes some of the earlier large scale cloth-construction works (these are up to 5 x 7 feet) as well as drawings, Artist Trading Cards, the large work entitled Connecting (made up of a number of smaller units) and her most recent textile work Nakusp Narratives.
The movie opens with her exhibition entitled Narratives at Kootenay Gallery of Art, Castlegar, BC, June 12 to July 26, 2009 --- this is an overview of her work from about 1985 to 2009. I have included titles in the movie to indicate which gallery is being viewed at a particular time. Connecting is first shown in the Kootenay Gallery and then in the Illingworth Kerr Gallery (at the Alberta College of Art & Design) in Calgary --- this included some shots of Wendy installing the work at the IKG (and just before that a couple of shots of her in her former studio in Calgary).
Next we see Nakusp Narratives in the group exhibition Gemeinsame Sache (Common Cause) at the Kasseler Kunstverein in the Museum Fridericianum, Kassel, March, 2009 --- Wendy was able to travel there and install the work and attend the opening.
Then we see Nakusp Narratives at the Stride Gallery in Calgary, installation shots and quite a few more details. Then three shots of Wendy in her new studio here in Nakusp which is immediately followed by a shot, with some details, of a large commission by Wendy in the Edmonton City Hall. Then one of her drawings (8.5 x 11 inches) immediately followed by images of some ATCs quickly covering the years 1998 to 2010.

CP 255 with a vintage wood passenger car on flatcar (albeit shrink-wrapped).
I posted the pics in RR Picture Archives and Leighton Haeseler replied This car and load was photographed at Plainfield, CT on 2/13/2013 and can be viewed in my album 'ITTX equipment in CT'.
Thanks to my good friend Paul Strubeck, he suggested I post my inquiry in Railway Preservation News, which I did. Not two hours later, I received a reply from Howard P., and his information led me to learn that this car is ex-Central Vermont #382, and it's on its way to Granby, CO to the Moffat Road Railroad Museum.
From
This car was one of several similarly designed cars for use in a single first class train of the period. The car, formerly No. 382, is the sole survivor of the series, having outlasted its sisters through demotion to work train service and use as a rider car with the wreck train. The car was built in 1905 by the American Car & Foundry Company, who also built the same model for David Moffat's railroad.
The car is 70 feet long overall, about 14 feet high and weighs about 48 tons. It was located on private land on rail connected to the national rail passenger car interior system. However, due to its age, it cannot move on its own wheels.
The Car's Features:
The car has a wood body and a steel under frame with truss rods. Windows are paired with a single arched pane spanning each pair of operable sash. All operable sash have storm windows. The car has a vented but enclosed clerestory, and open vestibules, which were originally closed, the original vestibule doors having long since disappeared. Most of the car remains intact including its inlaid mahogany paneling, smoking compartment and toilet compartments at each end. A single corner lavatory with its faucets and piping remains of the original plumbing fixtures.
Other original fixtures in the car include brass wire luggage racks, brass window hardware, two mirrors and a few match-striking pads in the smoking compartment. Although two upholstered walkover seats came with the car, it is doubtful that either of these is original to the car, but may be of an even earlier period as both have wooden seat frames.
The car rides on its original six-wheel wood beam passenger trucks and still maintains its original draft gear and couplers. The car is equipped with air brakes.
