Ep.20 - Target Beach

Could it be true - a perfect little surfing beach tucked away within an active military weapons range? Of course it could, this is Australia after all! Target Beach is on the southern edge of the Beecroft Weapons Range in northern Jervis Bay and you can only visit it at weekends (when they're not dropping shells on the nearby bushland). It's just a 1.5km walk from famous Honeymoon Bay and is the perfect place to visit if you want a secluded beach all to yourself.

Under the Arch at Jervis Bay

It is rather deep under The Arch; a large span of rock hanging over a fish saturated dive site, with the depth below the arch ranging between 30 - 40 m. This is one of our favourite dives at one of DOUTS Dive Club's favourite destinations.
