Caboolture Aerodrome is located only 45 minutes’ drive from the centre of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
Caboolture Aero Club Inc. maintain the airfield on behalf of some 270 members and is complimented with long cross runways and a fully serviced Re-Fuelling service, a Fully Licenced Maintenance Facility, a well-known Aircraft Spares Supply, several Flight Training and Air Experience Flight Schools, several aircraft Museum facilities, a 300 member plus Gliding Club and more than 100 Hangars.
Vehicle access is provided by a card-swipe for members only and security patrols are conducted at night and on week-ends.

The two day event which has been held annually since 1989 never fails to impress, and will include: heritage machinery, aircraft, truck show and tractor pulling, joy flights, fashion parade and entertainment for the kids.

Festival of Flight 2011 - Caboolture Pt 1
After many years at Watts Bridge, QVAG brought to 2011 Festival of Flight back to Caboolture on the weekend of 27, 28 August. Saturday was rained out with all movement areas sodden, but Sunday came up trumps. Not as many attended as might've, but the crowds came and celebrated aviation and aeroplanes. Enjoy part one of the day.
