Cala Tarida - Sensatori - Ibiza - Holiday - Mavic Pro
This is our first ever family holiday filmed with Mavic Pro drone. We visited Sensatori Ibiza on an all inclusive holiday during half term in October 2017 with our two children aged 4 and 7.
This is a lovely hotel located in the quiet town of Cala Tarida. It is perfect for families and children both young and old. Firstly, we were not expecting this location to be as beautiful as it was. We watched a few videos before booking the hotel and this place was more beautiful than we ever imagined it would be.
There is not a lot going on this side of Ibiza. There are no major shops or bars in Cala Tarida. The closest town is San Antonio which is about a 10 minute bus ride just outside the hotel. The only downside about this Sensatori is the fact that not all facilities and amenities are in one location and there is quite a lot of walking up and down hills. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to holiday-makers.
A few people have complained about the size of the hotel rooms which was not a particular issue for us. Overall, I was generally happy with the hotel and the price we paid especially give this was during half term. There are adult-only pools as well as family pools and therefore the hotel caters to all. Overall, I was happy with the value-for-money which we paid.

Santa Eulalia has fine white sand, busy promenades and fantastic bars and cafes... Santa Eulalia has a serene holiday feel.
Below the splendid promenade, the Town Hall of Santa Eulalia has created an extremely good long, wide beach of fine, white sand drawn from the sea. The waters are clean and shallow, safe for children and very inviting for less confident swimmers. The beach has been entirely smoke-free, since 2015, in bid to keep the sands pristine for all who visit it. There are excellent watersports facilities and boat day trips available from the nearby marina. Between the white sand, busy and well facilitated promenade and sparkling clean waters, Santa Eulalia beach has the ultimate holiday getaway atmosphere.
While it is one-sixth the size of nearby Majorca, Ibiza is over five times the size of Mykonos (Greece), or ten times the size of Manhattan Island. Ibiza has become famous for the association with nightlife and the electronic music that originated on the island. It is well known for its summer club scene which attracts very large numbers of tourists, though the island's government and the Spanish Tourist Office have controversially been working to promote more family-oriented tourism.
Ibiza is considered to be a popular tourist destination, especially due to its legendary and at times riotous nightclub based nightlife centred on two areas: Ibiza Town, the island's capital on the southern shore and Sant Antoni to the West. Well-known nightclubs are Privilege, Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Es Paradís and DC10. During the summer, the top producers and DJs in dance come to the island and play at the various clubs, in between touring to other international destinations. Some of the most famous DJs run their own weekly nights around the island. Many of these DJs use Ibiza as an outlet for presenting new songs within the house, trance and techno genres of electronic dance music. The city has achieved renowned worldwide fame as a cultural center for house and trance in particular, with its name often being used as a partial metonym for the particular flavor of electronic music originating there, much like Goa in India.

A sheltered bay at the tiny resort of Cala Tarida with the longest and widest beach of fine white sand on this side of the island. The clean, clear waters over a sandy bottom are shallow to quite a way out on the right, deeper and more rocky to the left. The colours of the sea here are truly magnificent; turquoise, azure blue and emerald green.
Behind the beach are well-urbanised hills with the hotel club just behind, the convenience of this making Cala Tarida a popular family beach. There are also shops right on the beach to buy inflatables, snorkel gear and beach balls if sunbaking just doesn't cut it for you. If you're looking for a solitary spot there are some small hidden coves north of the beach and a selection of interestingly shaped rocks to swim out to.

Below the busy promenade, the Town Hall of San Antonio has created a long, wide beach of fine, white sand drawn from the sea. Being easy to walk to, and backed by holiday accommodation, this beach is popular but never appears too full.
The waters are shallow, safe, and great for messing about in - perfect for what is largely a youth-focused beach in the summer. Being the closest beach to San Antonio workers' blocks and youth hostels (meaning plenty of PRs on the prowl), in summer it is full of twenty-somethings socialising and relaxing, with music often spilling out from the many bars along the promenade.
There are excellent watersports facilities and boat trips can be caught to other beaches from the nearby Harbour. In the evenings the beach is awash in a golden light, and becomes a great place to watch the sun set behind the many boats moored further out in the bay.

D'alt Villa and Ibiza Town, Ibiza, Spain - 15th October, 2012
Ibiza Town is a city and municipality located on the southeast coast of the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands autonomous community. Although called Ibiza in English and Spanish, the official name is in Catalan Eivissa (as restored in 1986) and its inhabitants call it Vila d'Eivissa or simply Vila (Town). It's divided into two main parts: the old town, called Dalt Vila (literally Upper Town), located in the little mountain by the sea, and the modern part, called Eixample (extension).
Sights include the cathedral of Santa Maria d'Eivissa (14th century), located on the top of Dalt Vila, and the Punic necropolis of Puig des Molins.
The city is the capital and most populous settlement of the island and of the Pine Islands group, which includes Ibiza and Formentera.
This video features views around and from Dalt Villa - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the city walls, buildings and steps, and the views include views of the port and Mediterranean Sea. After this the video ends in the town at the side of the port and features views of the boats in the harbour.
