Caldicot Castle (Monmouthshire, Wales, UK)
Wikipedia: Caldicot Castle (Welsh: Castell Cil-y-coed) is an extensive stone medieval castle in the town of Caldicot, Monmouthshire, in southeast Wales, built near the site of Harold Godwinson's former Saxon castle by the Norman earls of Hereford from about 1100. The castle became a Grade I listed building on 10 June 1953.
It was in the possession of Thomas of Woodstock, a son of King Edward III of England, until his death in 1391, when it reverted to the Crown.

A trip to Caldicot Castle. Poor weather but it was a nice little visit to see a local castle. Great facilities and free entry so you can't go wrong.
I should be back on the fields detecting in the next couple of weeks, once the rain has soaked into the ground.

This is my Flip Ultra HD test around the outside of Caldicot Castle in South Wales. The majority is taken on a tripod. I have to say I am impressed especially as it appears to have a pinhole lens.

a great day featuring many groups of re enactments including this first time show performance of the ragged victorians that was well acted. great fighting with humour thrown in. They all looked the part which they also did the same again on sunday which i filmed slightly longer.
