Caleruega got its name from a town in Spain, which was the birthplace of St. Dominic de Guzman, father of the Order of Preachers. Known as one of the most popular wedding churches near Tagaytay ( it is actually in Nasugbu, batangas ), the Caleruega Church is perfectly perched atop a hill. Because it is surrounded by greenery, needless to say, Caleruega is promoted as a place that is close to nature and closer to God. Its awesome landscape and breathtaking view made up of hills, fields and the Batulao Mountains captivates every visitor. The first thing that will greet you upon arriving here is the Cenaculum, which is where its retreat center, office and dining area are located. After a short uphill walk (about 100 steps), you will find Caleruega or the Transfiguration Chapel.

Caleruega
Caleruega- is a retreat center built in 1995 and administered by the Dominican Fathers and Brothers in the Philippines. Initially, Caleruega is a small town in Spain where the father of the Order of Preachers St. Dominic de Guzman was born. In honor of their founder and his legacy, the Filipino Dominicans established a place named after Caleruega here in the country.
Located at Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas; a few minutes-drive away from Tagaytay, one of the most visited Philippine tourist spot. Upon arrival, visitors are asked to pay thirty pesos P30.00 (0.68 USD) for the entrance fee. This amount is very cheap and affordable, especially in exchange for a rest-assured peaceful moment and outstanding scenery to ponder.

CALERUEGA CHURCH, BATANGAS WITH FAMBAM
Hi guys,
I have been wanting to visit this church near Tagaytay, which I have seen on some weddings, and I find it very solemn and private. So we went to visit last month, and bamm! It’s definitely a “must” on your bucket list! It’s also perfect for prenup pictorial or wedding event! The quiet serenity of the place and the various pockets of landscaped gardens plus nature at it’s best is just so fascinating! There’s a P30 entrance fee per person, but it’s all worth it! Located at Bgry. Caylaway, Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines.
Love,
Abeeautiful Journey ✨

Unang byahe namin for the year 2018 malapit lang ‘to sa amin kaya medyo relax 8 o’clock na kami lumakad sira agad itinerary ko, haha! :D kaya unang destination_Korean Temple. Maganda yung place instagrammable. As of this writing, sarado na DAW ‘to kasi may nawala sa temple, huhuhu :( … sa mga pupunta pwede nyo palitan ng People’s Park in the Sky or Skyranch para meron pa din kayong 8in1. Sayang talaga free parking free entrance unli selfie ;)
:D . Parking? At your own risk pero kung arkilado naman service nyo bahala na si kuya text-text na lang, haha! Coffee?
Parking: P20 Entrance P50
Dami talagang pipicturan promise! ;). Parking fee: P20 Entrance fee P30.
After Caleruega nag-Jollibee na lang kami for lunch.
Fantasy World sinama ko lang dito para makumpleto ang 8in1 Destination actually napuntahan na namin ‘to ganda talaga dito. Maaga pa naman pwedeng-pwede nyo pa tong daanan. Instagrammable talaga. Entrance fee P1000/10 person.
Lomi overload Php200 good for 4 person
Rewriting my itinerary, at kung di na nga pwede sa Korean Temple start ako sa Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe for morning coffee then Gingerbread House ... Sonya's Garden ... Lunch at Bulalo Point dito masarap ang bulalo ... Caleruega ... Fantasy World ... Taal Heritage Town ... G2B Lomi House.
Super enjoy ang byahe na ‘to, subukan mo! ;)
