IRISH REPUBLICAN ARMY Volunteer Joe MacManus, from Sligo, was killed in action near the Fermanagh - Donegal border on February 5th 1992. Joe was fatally wounded in an exchange of fire with a soldier of the British Army's Ulster Defence Regiment near Belleek, he was 21 years old. 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of his death on active service. Remembered with pride.

32 Guinness for 32 Counties of Ireland
In the summer of 2019 I did a bike tour of the 32 counties of Ireland. During this I made it my business to get a Guinness in every county when going through.
I requested that every bartender serve the Guinness to me while saying Tóg go bog é which translated from Irish means 'take it easy', a fitting expression for how Guinness makes me feel.
