PART OF THE CHMALLORCA BIKE COURSE (Es Capdellà - Calvià)
This is part of the first part of the bike course. The tracj goes from the little town of Es Capdellà to Calvià and return. This part is technical, little demanding in some moments and very fast in other.
Bike course CHMALLORCA: the circuit runs along most of the municipality of Calvià. We can categorise it as varied because of its difficulty, speed, road and landscape. It has areas of suffering and rapid sections. It starts in Paguera, passing through the tradicional villages of Es Capdellà and Calvià to lead to the coast of Palmanova, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and back to Paguera. After 2 laps, the 90 km circuit is completed and T2 is reached.

CHALLENGE PEGUERA MALLORCA BIKE
Challenge Peguera - Mallorca owes much to its reputation as one of the most picturesque and spectacular 70.3 triathlons to its bike course. One thing is for sure: it's not completely flat. It has some rolling and some hilly segments but also speedy sections where bikes can speed up to 60km/h. Two loops over the 45km long course minimizes the footprint of the event, which is one of the main points of the philosophy of the organisation.
The cycling course departs from Peguera and leads towards the charming traditional town of Es Capdellà through the Coll des Trulls uphill, heading inland into the midst of magnificent natual scenary in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO Wolrd Heritage Site.
The climb to Coll des Tords from Calvià (Cat.4, 3,6km at 3%) may appear to be the most difficult part of the course, but for many the previous uphill to Coll des Trulls ( short but steep) proves to be the most challenging passage. The wind can be present at some points of the course but it doesn't play a big role.
The course is full of landscapes, it's technical and demanding and at times faster than other triathlon courses. The descent heads back into The fridge, it continues towards Son Pillo and takes competitors through the towns of Calvià, Magaluf, El Toro, Santa Ponça and back to Peguera, following the coast line. The riders complete the 45km lap alongside some of the most popular beaches on the island and go ahead for the second round. In the towns there is spectator support and entertainment spots. This, together with the huge crew of volunteers, will give you wings to tackle your Challenge!
