Phnom Penh Tour, People Make Easy Money in Cambodia

Officially recognized beggars on the street. It might sound very strange to foreigners or tourists who come to Cambodia for the first time or just recently settle in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Many of the people I know where they come to visit this country always ask me this question, What are these people doing with the loud speaker on the bicycle?
Very good question but difficult to answer. Just be kind and be part of the good thing, I said. what will you do to explain the situation.

Spanning more than sixty hectares of land, Phnom Penh Safari is a, first large-scale 200 with a concept of “Four Kingdoms” that exhibits four majestic and fascinating daily animal shows. Witness wildlife as they roam free in open enclosures resembling their natural habitats. Such a sight to behold! Phnom Penh Safari aims to connect people with wildlife hoping to spark positive actions towards these animals and their natural environment.
The Animal Trail Initiative improves the animal qualities of life by giving them a chance to wander long distances and explore diverse environments. Visitor experience goes beyond traditional encounters with animals. As you move around, the zoo moves-around you. Cambodia & Laos Uncovered 2017
Contiki • Laos & Cambodia trip • GoPro footage • DJI Mavic Pro footage • 1080P • 2017 • Travel • HERO5 • HD •
Compilation of my trip to Laos and Cambodia, December 2017. My friend Alfredo, my cousin Briza, and I, visited Vang Vieng, Vientian, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap. It was a two week trip along side our new friends from our Contiki tour. When you want to see the most in a limited about of time, Contiki is a great way to do it. It takes a lot of the guesswork out. In the video I show two sides our the trip, daily adventures and fist pumping nightlife. All video was taken using the GoPro Hero5 and DJI Mavic Pro. I edited the movie on Adobe Premiere Pro cc. My first attempt at filming and editing. Let me know your thoughts.

Cambodia’s $24m museum fully funded by North Korea
North Korean government has spent $24m to build the new Angkor Panorama Museum in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Museum authorities say it is a goodwill gesture from North Korea to strengthen ties between the two countries.
But experts assert it is a new way for Pyongyang to circumvent international sanctions and bring in much-needed funds.
Al Jazeera's Karishma Vyas reports from Siem Reap.

China Fake Paris Town in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
In this video I visit a China Fake Paris style development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Koh Pich, or Diamond Island is a huge residential/commercial development located in an area of Phnom Penh that used to be a swamp until 2000 on the Mekong and Bassac Rivers. Elysee is the Paris inspired development that is similar in style to the fake Paris cities of China like Tianducheng, a suburb of Shanghai with it's own fake Eiffel Tower.Interestingly enough it appears that Elysee is being marketed to foreign, particularly Chinese investors, who can afford to fork over between $800,000 to over $1.1 million USD for the units that are available. The setting is nice enough but it still doesn't appear to be complete let alone occupied 4 years after ground breaking began. The new high rise buildings in the same area seem to fit in more with the modernization of Southeast Asia then the bizarre out of place Elysee. Elite Town another old world development doesn't seem like it fits in any better. Hopefully these won't be future ghost cities or towns. The setting itself is quite attractive with a lovely boardwalk along the Bassac and special events and celebrations have been held here in the past like the Water Festival.

If you’re looking for more things to do in Siem Reap, Cambodia other than visit Angkor Wat, then you’ve come to the right place.
In this video we share with you, what to do in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Siem Reap, Cambodia is so much more than just Angkor Wat!
There are lots of things to do in Siem Reap besides temples.
1. Visit the Angkor National Museum.
The museum is dedicated to preserving Angkorian artefacts and does a phenomenal job of explaining art and culture in the Khmer era dating from the 9th to the 14th centuries.
2. Get wild on Pub Street.
Pub Street is the entertainment district of Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This is where all the tourists gather to party as music pounds from all the pubs and clubs in pub street.
There is also plenty of restaurants lining the street where you can grab a bite to eat for an incredibly affordable price before hitting the clubs.
And if you’re not in the mood to dance you can always lounge on the cushioned chairs and people watch.
3. Angkor Wat is not only one of the best things to do in Siem Reap, Cambodia it is one of the top things to do in Cambodia, therefore, it can’t be missed!
Angkor Wat is a huge complex of many temples, not just the one and most famous temple, Angkor Wat itself.
It is the largest religious complex in the world and is on the World Heritage List.
4. Ride in a tuk tuk.
It is the easiest way to get around in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
It’s an adventure in it’s self as it’s organised chaos on the roads.
It’s relatively cheap and the drivers are friendly and helpful.
5. Angkor Night Market.
Before you head out to pub street, explore the many vendors at the Angkor Night Market which opens around 5pm.
You’ll find lots of local handicrafts from the community under bamboo huts.
The market started in 2007 to help preserve Khmer handicrafts and help the locals, and today you’ll find lots of bags made from recycled materials.
6. Spend the day exploring a floating village.
A 2-hour boat ride will get you to one of the floating villages where you can then make stops at crocodile farms, find souvenirs and eat delicious food.
7. Take an eco-trip to Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake.
The area floods during the monsoon, expanding from 2,500 square kilometres to 12,000 where locals live in houses with stilts.
8. Get a cheap massage.
Thailand isn’t the only place in southeast Asia that has cheap massages.
In Cambodia you can get them for anywhere from 1 to 7 dollars at massage shops around the city.
9. Eat street food.
You can explore the city like a local and sample some of the best foods in Siem reap, Cambodia with a local tour guide who will take you through a night market.
You’ll learn not only about Khmer cuisine but also culture and you get to try Khmer street food dishes, snacks and of course get dinner.
10. Visit the Landmine Museum.
If you want an insider’s look into Cambodia’s history or want to give to a good cause, then the Landmine Museum and Relief Facility, should be included on your Siem Reap itinerary.
The museum is located within the Angkor National Park and was established by an ex-soldier who went back to villages where he fought and started defusing landmines he had planted by hand.
Money raised by the museum goes towards further landmine clearing to fund its new school and amputee children.
11. Fly through the Cambodia jungle with Flight of the Gibbon.
Take a break between temple hopping and get adventurist as you explore the Cambodia jungle through the canopy of trees on 10 zip lines and 4 sky bridges.
12. Shop at the Old Market.
One of the best things to do in Siem Reap at night, is visit the Old Market.
As the name suggests, it is the oldest market in Siem Reap.
Locals use the market to shop for food and household items, but there is also a large section at the entrance where visitors can find many vendors selling clothes, shoes and jewellery .
13. Take a Cambodia cooking class.
When it comes to activities in Siem Reap, a cooking class is a must.
A cooking class in Siem Reap is so much fun, and especially since Khmer food is so delicious.
14. The Cambodian Circus.
A circus in Cambodia?
It’s one of the best things to see in Siem Reap if you need a night of entertainment that doesn’t involve pub street.
Head over to the circus where you can watch acrobatics fly from the ceiling, listen to live music or have on-site dining during the show.
You won't regret it!

Amazing Phnom Penh City Tour and Sightseeing, Cambodia on 17/09/2018
The Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Is global spirituality possible? Maybe. This is the ground-breaking novel on the near-death experience that unveils the roots to a global spirituality. A modern woman has an extraordinary dream that seems like a near-death experience. This gives rise to a quest for truth and a journey that unveils religion's common denominator. . .The Light.
Religion’s common denominator . . .The Light
God does not have a religion.
God does not speak a language.
God does not have a culture.
It is we who require these things.
Why has humankind always sought the Light? What do pharaohs and prophets and festivals around the world tell us about the meaning of the Light? A modern woman has an extraordinary dream that seems like a near-death experience. This gives rise to a quest for truth. Dissatisfied with answers at home, she takes her search abroad and enters a labyrinth of fortunetellers, religious scholars, Sufi guides and spiritual archaeologists. Propelled by what she discovers, her journey continues to the foundation of religious unity.
A Modern-Day Journey for Peace moves us to consider if the Light of the near-death experience isn’t actually the bedrock of religion and the springboard for a universal connection. This modern-day story melds the varieties of religious experience into a visual whole. The essence of God becomes globally and tangibly defined. This story uncovers our prevailing spiritual unity despite our world’s seemingly different beliefs. Ultimately, there is a powerful spiritual bond we have with one another. Gods and the names for God have changed in every era, yet one dynamic remains constant—the Light.

CAMBODIA AND VIETNAM, 2017
A year ago I went on a G Adventures tour - Cambodia and Vietnam on a shoestring - and met some of the best people! Unfortunately the video isn't the greatest because I lost a lot of my photos and videos but it brings back good memories :))
If you want more details on the G Adventures tour you can take a look here:
Exploring Mahendraparvata, Cambodia's 'Lost City'
Mahendraparvata hit the headlines in 2013 as a 'lost city' was revealed through the use of aerial LIDAR data. This was 21st century archaeology at its very best and several new sites were discovered as well as a much bigger urban settlement than was previously realised. Hanuman Travel operates the Sacred Mountain Safari to Phnom Kulen, a luxury camping adventure. In this video, our team explores some new remote sites on the holy mountain, including the brick temples of Damrei Krab and Thmor Dap and holy carvings of Poeng Tbal.
