After around half an hour of trainspotting at the railway station we head into the city centre to connect back home. So it would of been fitting if i recorded the entire ride since it only took 10-15 minutes.

American Battle Monument Cemetery in Cambridge, England
This video presents a brief narrated tour of Cambridge American Cemetery's landscaped grounds, architecture, and works of art.
The Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial site in England, 30.5 acres in total, was donated by the University of Cambridge. It lies on a slope with the west and south sides framed by woodland. The cemetery contains the remains of 3,812 of our military dead; 5,127 names are recorded on the Tablets of the Missing. Rosettes mark the names of those since recovered and identified. Most died in the Battle of the Atlantic or in the strategic air bombardment of northwest Europe.
From the flagpole platform near the main entrance, the great mall with its reflecting pools stretches eastward. It is from the mall that the wide, sweeping curve of the burial area across the green lawns is best appreciated. Along the south side are the Tablets of the Missing, and at the far end is the memorial with its chapel, two huge military maps, stained-glass windows bearing the state seals and military decorations, and mosaic ceiling memorial to the dead of our air forces.
The cemetery is open daily to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except December 25 and January 1. It is open on host country holidays. When the cemetery is open to the public, a staff member is on duty in the Visitor Building to answer questions and escort relatives to grave and memorial sites.

We recently went on a ghost tour around Cambridge and felt inspired to hunt there and here's the result.
We had some interesting experiences that continued after the camera batteries died (twice) so we will be re-stocking and returning to Cambridge soon I hope.

The Backs - Cambridge
It's funny but when something is on your doorstep, you tend to take it for granted. Well for me, Cambridge was just one of those locations.
As I mainly shoot landscape and seascape I ignored Cambridge as I work there every day, but I can assure you that I will be shooting there a lot more in the future.
I was really pleased with my early morning shots, especially the ones of Queens. However the wide black and white image (actually my favourite image) has a nasty lens flare and if I cannot get rid of it in PS, I will have to go back and re-shoot it.

We invesitgated three locations with mixed results. The graveyard itself is also very interesting with a variety of tombstones and some art installation. Worth a visit for those interested in that type of thing.

While magnet fishing in Cambridge we expected to find bicycles but we didnt expect to find a gun in the river. After 10 minutes of arriving we even pulled out a moped from its motorcycle graveyard.
I met up with lee and jay for the first time and jay even found an old gun (revolver).
