Real (NZ) Road Test: 1956 Austin Cambridge A50 (New Zealand-assembled)
Built in New Zealand from a Completely Knocked-Down kit (CKD), this Cambridge is a little different. Join me as I drive it around a suburb of Auckland in rather inclement weather.
Sadly, this was while I was having microphone issues, so the sound could be better. The whine of the transmission and gentle growl of the 1489cc B-Series engine can be heard nicely however.

Duke of Cambridge attends ANZAC Day service in New Zealand
The Duke of Cambridge has arrived in New Zealand for a two-day visit to commemorate wartime soldiers and visit survivors of last month's mosque attacks.
Prince William attended an Anzac Day service in Auckland alongside New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. During the service, His Royal Highness laid a wreath on behalf of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Anzac Day is a national holiday marking the anniversary of New Zealand and Australian soldiers, known as Anzacs, landing on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915.
More than 10,000 soldiers from the two countries were killed during that WWI campaign in Turkey.

The Duke of Cambridge attended the first public service of his whirlwind visit here attending the civic service at Auckland's War Memorial Museum just before midday. Prince William was welcomed alongside Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, the Auckland mayor Phil Goff and other RSA representatives.
The prince is in New Zealand for a two-day visit, and he's set to spend the most time in Christchurch to pay respects to those affected by the recent mosque shootings.

NZ Museum Visit! The National Toy and Transport Museum, Wanaka (South Island)
One of the largest private collections of cars in the Southern Hemisphere, this museum combines toys, cars and trucks in frankly mind-blogging numbers. Favourite vehicles lurking within include a Nissan BE-1, Hino four-axle fire engine, Singer SM1500, Vauxhall E-type, Mitsuoka Viewt, Leyland P76, Austin Allegro and Princess and a Mitsubishi 1100F. I also discover a Borgward Isabella, Hansa and Goliath from Germany.
I did visit on a particularly grotty day, when many exhibits were sadly being stored outside while a new building is created. I was also at something of a low ebb, hence the general levels of grumpiness. I'm better now. Thank you.

Auckland Museum, Auckland War Memorial Museum, New Zealand
We visited Auckland museum in January and saw some special exhibitions.
The information below is from Wikipedia,
The Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira (or simply the Auckland Museum[1]) is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history (and especially the history of the Auckland Region), natural history, and military history.
The museum is also one of the most iconic Auckland buildings, constructed in the neo-classicist style, and sitting on a grassed plinth (the remains of a dormant volcano) in the Auckland Domain, a large public park close to the Auckland CBD.

Real Road Test: 1960 Austin Westminster A99 in New Zealand. Australian?
Variety is key here at HubNut, so after a Porsche 911, Yugo 55 and Chevrolet Corvair, here's a mighty slab of British metal in the form of a 1960 Austin Westminster A99. I think it may have been assembled in Sydney, Australia.
With a 2912cc six-cylinder C-Series engine shared with the Austin-Healey 3000, it makes all the right noises. There is a three-speed manual gearbox, with Porsche synchromesh on all gears, and an unusual Borg Warner overdrive that incorporates a freewheel.
HubNut goodies can be found at - cheers.

Real (NZ) Road Test: 1996 Nissan Maxima 3.0i (or Maxima QX or Cefiro!)
Yes, I've found yet another car I can find easily enough back in the UK, this time a NZ-from-new Nissan Maxima, sold as the Maxima QX in the UK, or Cefiro in Japan. It's related to the Maxima sold in the USA, but isn't quite the same.
It has smooth V6 power and a boot release I could not find.
