Morocco Adventure From Fes to the Sahara
My son Nate and I continue on our journey around Morocco. We push onward on our quest to camp and ride camels in the Sahara desert. We hire a tour company to get us from Fes to the sahara desert to our hotel and base for our trip into the desert.
Merzouga is the nearest town and many day tours to the desert are offered out of there
We really appreciate you taking the time to watch our vids!

Best way to Experience the Sahara Desert | Camping in Merzouga, Morocco
The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.
Next stop: Flying home to surprise Jess's brother for Christmas!

Merzouga Morocco - Sahara Desert Tour - Camel Trekking
Merzouga Morocco - Sahara Desert Tour - Camel Trekking | facebook page: Article About Merzouga here:
Original videos here:
Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 kilometres southeast of Rissani, about 55 kilometers from Erfoud.
The village is known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and it is for this reason a part of the itineraries of many tourists visiting Morocco. Merzouga has the largest natural underground body of water in Morocco.
few years ago, Merzouga experienced devastating flash floods, displacing 1,200 and resulting in some deaths.
Near the dunes of Erg Chebbi there are some other less known villages: Hassilabied 4 km away, Tanamoust 3 km away, Takoujt 1.5 km away, Khamlia 7 km away and Tisserdmine 15 km away.

RIDING CAMELS IN MOROCCO - SAHARA DESERT TOUR
We're riding camels in the Sahara desert of Morocco in this vlog. It's day two of the Sahara Desert Tour and we make it to the Sahara desert. We leave The Dades Valley and see the Dades Gorge which was incredible. We visit the Todra Valley and the Todgha Gorge which is great before finally making it to the Sahara desert!
Sahara Desert - The Sahara Desert borders on Morocco and it's a long way to drive there from Marrakech which we found out. The Sahara Desert is the world's largest hot desert and the third biggest desert in the entire world. It's a huge desert, 9,200,000 square kilometres is the total area.
The Dades Valley - This valley stretches from the High Atlas Mountains in the north to the Jebel Saghro range in the south. It stretches longer than your imagination can understand, ok just kidding. The Dades Valley is also the main path between the desert and the ancient trading oasis of the Tifilalt.
The Dades Gorge - series of wadi gorges made by the Dades River in Morocco. The river starts in the High Atlas of the Atlas mountains. It's a great tourist attraction in the Atlas Mountains and worth seeing, it's stunning.
Todgha Gorge - It's near Tinerhir and a series of wadi's as well as a big tourist attraction. You won't be alone there.

Finally we arrived in the Sahara desert. Nature unfolds this profound work of art facets. A group of tourists in the desert and the entrance are preparing to leave to ride a camel. Camel tours are usually only go into the tent of the end of November and sent overnight cold weather that people are rare. Why do you feel camels walking in the desert above? Sand particles are not even hear the footsteps of gowaseo Is camels. Only static wind breaks. Shadow over sand comes along in silence. Endless sandy ocean ripples Indah. Someone said that the desert is a beautiful thing, but because it is an oasis in this mysterious and fantastic look what reason do you need?
The night in the desert flows.

Travel Vlog 1 : Marrakech With Gigi - December 2018 - Atlas Mountain Trip + Trying Camel Burger
Hi
My Name is Gigi. I'm from London.
Thank you for watching my first travel vlog.
Please feel free to leave me a message below.
Details About My Trip Below:
Change your money at Marrakech airport - The rate is much better in Marrakech and there are two currency shops inside the RAK airport as you arrive - or you can use your debt/credit card at the local ATM's in Marrakech - the ATM rate is also just as good or better.
Accommodation - Riad Adam -
Clock Cafe – Laid back restaurant/cafe that has live music and band. The food is very limited if you want a selection of different meat on the menu. I did try camel burger here, it was cooked well but I would not try camel burger again. -
Alcohol In Marrakech - Alcohol is very expensive in Marrakech. Definitely buy alcohol at the airport in UK duty free.
Argan Shop – The Argan shop is called Dar Al Baraka – Address: 6 Bab Agnaou Kasbah, Marrakech - After searching around for prices - I found this lovely lady with the best prices - she sells Argan oil, cactus oil, black soap, mint crystals and so much more.
The Spa – The spa was called Les Bains de L'alhambra –
Zeitoun Cafe – Only bought coffee here but the coffee was amazing and this cafe has great views and a relaxing atmosphere. -
So Lounge Restaurant – This place is a restaurant with live music and band. A great place to take pictures and smoke shisha but did NOT like the selection of food on the menu.
Atlas Mountains Day Trip with Camel Ride from Marrakech: Multi-activity tour -
Comptoir Darna Marrakech – Sells Alcohol here and not as pricey as other places in Marrakech. This place has excellent belly dancers and is suitable for children also. The food was about a 6 out of 10 and would rush back here for the food. However the lively and friendly atmosphere is definitely worth a visit whilst in Marrakech. -
My main problem with Marrakech is women have very little respect shown to them by men. Marrakech is the most strictest Arab country that I have been to, as you can not wear whatever you want. You have to really think about your holiday wardrobe when traveling to Marrakech, as wearing revealing clothing can ruin your holiday – with all the nasty comments you will receive. The food in Marrakech was also a problem for me, they cook a lot of their food dishes in Argan oil and I personally was NOT a fan of Argan oil on my food and lost a total of four pounds in weight during my short stay in Marrakech. If your a foodie, then Marrakech is definitely NOT for you. As a group we also received some racism and was very confused by this as some Moroccans that commented in this nasty way, where actually darker than me. Moroccans are technically African people and I was surprised to experience such racism by so many different Moroccan people - this did create a lot of negatives on our holiday. I do NOT think I would visit Marrakech any time soon, due to the racism and lack of respect for women we received - regardless of wearing conservative clothing. The local people also do not like you filming and this can be a problem to make a decent travel vlog. I would strongly advise to bring a GoPro camera - as it will allow more discrete filming. Marrakech is a beautiful place, however at night the atmosphere changes and if I was to travel to Marrakech again, I would definitely travel with my boyfriend. Or alternatively when I am visiting the locals market, I would arrange a tour guide.
Ryanair Flight Delay Information: Our Flight arrived back to the UK late by four hours and we all claimed compensation from Ryanair - 400 euros each - total result! If anyone experiences travel delays with Ryanair they should use Ryanair's online complaint form - all you got to do to find it is google - Ryanair EU261 compensation form -
