#151 - Croatia, Istria area - Mt Učka's Route 8 corrected (09/2015)

And finally, the last ride of Season 2015! This time, I'm back on Mt. Učka's Route 8 to ride and film the correct path. And it's brilliant. From enjoying the scenery and spectacular views, to dying on climbs and surviving the loose rocks, this ride will truly fill your batteries until the next season. And, of course, it ends in style - with a long, paved descent right into Lovran's centre!

Of course, Lovran is where Route 8 starts, following the main road along the sea, to Mošćenice and Sveta Jelena, where it turns straight up into the mountains. It's a very tough climb, seen in movie #147. But although I had to ride it all over again, this movie actually opens after Bodaj Pass and near the last offroad stretch to Mala Učka village. And from there, it goes... Well, you'll see.

My final special greeting of the season goes to those seeing it as a new beginning and not an end. And I can confirm there will be (or better, there is) Season 2016. Actually, the filming has ended (it's now too cold for all-day rides) and I should start editing some time next week.
