Goodbye good road, see you later! When you continue walk you will see a large water tank surrounded by a fence, this is a right direction, go left, walk near fence. We came to place where before was little bridge, but now bridge damage, so we go down to the ditch and than go up. Sun is up and temperature up also, anyway not forget take some extra close for not freeze, and of cause take water.
We was lucky and this day not was any rain. But I’m sure, walking on Trail #1 can be much more hard if rain came.
Be careful! See very careful before touch any liana!
We stay in Hotel what have name “Check Inn” in center of Brinchang. In hotel work very friendly staff. Especially we want tell thank you to Muhammad, for his detail advice. He is help to us choice this trail and tell all details for we easy can find right way.
Mount Gunung Brinchang have a height 2032 meters, and this is a highest mountain in Cameron Highlands, and second height in Malaysia. On top of this mountain you can walk 2 km on Trail #1 or you can drive car on mountain road. This is a highest place of Malaysia what you can reach by the car. But I very not recommend use little car for came to this place, road have big holes in some parts and you can damage your car. Local people very often use Land Rover. Length of road for car approximately 13 km.

Malaysia Peninsular Highlands, Pahang, Cameron Highland @Cheng Pai Voyage
Malaysia Peninsular Cool Highland, Pahang, Cameron Highland
马来西亚半岛,彭亨州属,金马仑高原
Cameron Highlands is the smallest district in Pahang which is located in the north- western corner of the state. One of the most popular hill resort in the country, this highland destination still retains much of the charm of an English village. Although massive development in the last decade has changed the landscape of the highlands, it remains a popular destination for those who wanting to escape the hot weather of the lowlands.
Being the primary agricultural region of the nation, you will find an abundance of vegetable farms dotted all over the highlands. Cameron Highlands is also the leading producer of flowers and tea in Malaysia. Be prepared for a lovely sight of tea plantations and beautiful flowers you won’t see flourishing elsewhere in Malaysia.
Located on the Titiwangsa Range at about 1500 metres above sea-level, the temperature here can drop to 16 ˚C or lower at certain times. The weather here remains at the lower to mid 20′s most of the time. Cameron Highlands is made up of 4 main townships followed by smaller settlements at different elevations. The first town from the south is Ringlet, followed by Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Kea Farm, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja.
Ringlet
If you’re taking the old road via Tapah, this is the first town you will reach after the 1 hour drive through the rainforest. Located at an elevation of 1,200 metres above sea-level, Ringlet is one of the main agricultural hub for the highlands. There is nothing much to do here for the typical tourist besides stopping for fuel as this is one of the towns with petrol stations. Bertam Valley which is located about 5km away is one of the main flower and vegetable producers in Cameron Highlands. The new road from Sungai Koyan and Raub which opened in 2012 goes through Bertam Valley and ends up here in Ringlet. The nearest hotel is the LakeHouse which is less then 5 minutes drive from here.
Tanah Rata
The heart of Cameron Highlands is indeed its administrative township called Tanah Rata which is highly popular among the foreign tourists. Nestled at an elevation of 1,440 metres (4,720 ft) with a daily temperature range from 19 to 26 degrees Celsius, the development in this area has been under control until the recent years where you can see more buildings coming up.
The name “tanah rata” actually means flat ground in the Malay language and it refers to the relatively flat area on which the town is located amidst the surrounding hills and mountain peaks. Being slightly laidback but with access to everything you need, this is where most of the guesthouses which caters to backpackers and the yuppie crowd are located.
Tanah Rata has banks, bars, money changers, sundry shops, cyber cafes, tour counters, restaurants, fast food outlets and even a Starbucks cafe. Visitors often choose to explore the surrounding sub-mountain forest here as there are numerous jungle trails with varying lengths and difficulties conveniently accessed from this area.
Some trails that are popular include the Trail Number 4 from Parit Falls among others leading to mountain peaks such as Gunung Beremban (1,812m), Gunung Mentigi (1,535m), Gunung Perdah (1,551m) and Gunung Jasar (1,670m). All jungle walks here are numbered and can be easily referenced from tourist maps available from shops, cafes and hotels around town
Brinchang
Brinchang which is a bustling township in Cameron Highlands is located five kms from Tanah Rata. It is the second largest township of Cameron Highlands but it is the busiest attracting a large number of local tourists on weekends and public holidays.
The popular night market is located here and its open on weekends, school holidays and public holidays. You can get highland produce, non-highlands produce, local street food, soft toys and fruits from the night market. The town has a numerous restaurants serving Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisine and a range of budget and medium ranged hotels. Being located slightly higher and close to most of the attractions, Brinchang has become a popular place to star for mostly local tourist.
Many vegetable farms, flower nurseries and fruit orchards are located close to this town and some popular tourist spots here include Cactus Valley and the Big Red Strawberry Farm.

Jungle Trekking at Gunung Brinchang Cameron Highland 2019
Hiking at Gunung Brinchang in 20 minutes video.
Feel the great trekking challenges and obstacles along the track.
Today, most climbers are not preferred to use this track because they preferred Gunung Irau instead of Brinchang. Thus, it seem like abandoned. In addition, this track has no signboard to guide climber.
That is why we published this video to guide you to reach at Gunung Brinchang's peak from Pekan Brinchang (opposite Balai Polis Brinchang). Enjoy this video and put some comment to improvise future video log.
Thank you

WET AND WILD in the MALAYSIAN JUNGLE
Welcome to another vlog as we trek through the Malaysian Jungle to the gorgeous waterfalls of Sungai Lepok.

As you all probably have picked up at this point, I love being outdoors and in nature. Even at the risk of being eaten alive by the ninja mosquitoes that hang around the jungle, I'd still pick a day in bug infested paradise over anything else.
We've been talking about doing a proper hike somewhere for ages, so when my friend suggested it, there was now way I was gonna back out. I also haven't visited a waterfall in Malaysia for years... literally YEARS! So this just sounded like too much fun.

My day actually began at 7 in the morning after having slept at around... 5am. So yes, 2 hours of sleep later I was up and fresh and ready to get wet 'n wild.
We got to Hulu Langat before anyone else so we decided to chill at one of the small coffee shop/ restaurants there. It had such a fun view of these water pools that are filled by the river that runs down the mountain, Sungai Lepok.
As soon as the group arrived and our little troop was 10 strong, we started the sweaty walk into the jungle.
In all honesty, it was barely a hike. It did take us almost 2 hours of walking through the jungle with some uncomfortably steep parts here and there, but all in all it was a pretty straight forward walk.
I mean, a guy in crutches was able to do it so that's all I have say to drive my point.
After an hour and forty minutes, we got to the waterfalls.
We were all hot and sticky and sweaty by the time we got there that the water was so welcoming.
We originally planned to leave really early in the morning so that we could reach the waterfalls and have them all to ourselves. But when we reached there around 10:30am... the place was PACKED!
We opted to go right up to the base of the water fall and chill there. SO WORTH IT!! The river had this soft layer of slippery algae growing on the rocks, so it basically turned the entire river into a massive natural waterslide. Can't even begin to tell you how fun that was.
After about 4 hours of monkeying around in the water and climbing up the face of the rocks, we packed up the gear and headed back down. By the time we got to the car I was a half zombie.
Could barely end my vlog properly and passed out in the car... and then passed out again when I got home. Such an amazing day though!

Cameron Highlands Malaysia
Brief description of the eight neighbourhoods.
The Bertam Valley is a scenic spot about two kilometres from Ringlet. It is involved with the growing of fruits, flowers and vegetables. It is now the Highlands' new entryway from Pahang via Sungei Koyan from Raub or Kuala Lipis.
Brinchang is the -Camerons- second biggest town. The majority of its visitors are from Singapore or Malaysia. It is close to the -central market-, orchards, nurseries, museum and golf course.
Besides these attractions, the place is also known for its teeming -Night Market-. The outdoor bazaar is usually held during the Malaysian school holidays or on weekends.
Kampung Raja is a residential area. It is the first colony after the turn off from Simpang Pulai. From here one can proceed to either Ipoh in Perak or to Gua Musang in Kelantan.
Kea Farm is located at an altitude of (1,600 metres (5,200 ft)). It is one of the highest villages in Peninsular Malaysia. It is adjacent to the tea estates and Mount Batu Brinchang (Malay: Gunung Batu Brinchang).Kuala Terla is a farming commune. Its main activity is the cultivation of fruits, flowers and vegetables. Located about four kilometres from Kampung Raja, it has a mixed population comprising Chinese, Indians and Malays. Most of the residents here have no difficulties communicating in Malay.
Ringlet is the first town after the turn off from Tapah. It is one of the agricultural hubs of the resort. A wide variety of vegetables are grown at this township. The cool climate also favours the growing of passion fruit, strawberries and grapefruit.Tanah Rata is the administrative centre of the retreat. The police station, government offices, hospital, schools, library, post office, shops, banks, eateries, inns, chalets, bus station and taxi stand are all within walking distance.
Amenities aside, the town is also noted for its intricate network of jungle tracks: trails 4 and 9 lead to the waterfalls; the rest meander to mountains, scenic spots or aboriginal villages.
Most of the walks here are fairly well marked. They generally intersect with each other to form a -loop- around the city.
Tringkap is a farming enclave. It is a focal point for the growing of vegetables. A high percentage of its crops are grown on tiered terraces. The bulk of its produce is exported to Singapore.

A hike through trail #9 in Cameron Highlands
It was generally a nice trail. A little deserted but nothing out of the ordinary. I wasn't aware of its notoriety until I was on my way back to the hostel and reading the horror stories on TripAdvisor. Perhaps the camera on my head saved me from the dogs. The man with the dogs really encouraged me to go on, fortunately there was no one waiting behind a tree to mug me.
