Campal Garden Desecration
We at Goa ForGiving are always on the forefront of doings things that make Goa proud. We fight for social issues like the Campal Creek, The Coconut Tree Issue, the Mermaid Garden and other vital issues that affect Goa.
Recently, an illegal structure was built in the Campal Garden, which was noticed by Campal stalwart, Patricia Pinto. We detected this illegality and monstrosity, and as usual our founder chairman, Armando Gonsalves was also there.
In the end we succeeded in getting the structure demolished.

Ambedkar Park in Panjim Goa
Ambedkar Park is a small public park near Panjim bus stand. The park is very centrally located and well maintained. It is not a tourist destination but a good stopover if you are going by that way.

13th August 2013
After our visit to Old Goa we crossed the river and walked around the Fontainhas area. We saw the Chapel of St Sebastian and the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, which was under renovation. We had a look at the Secretariat Building and the interesting statue next to it of hypnotist Abee Faria hypnotising a woman. We walked back along the river and through the Campal Gardens as far as the Kala Academy, where we heard a music performance taking place.
