Jane Hilderman is the executive director of Samara Canada, a national nonpartisan charity that strengthens Canadian democracy by reconnecting citizens to political life. She co-authored a number of Samara’s reports on the state of citizen engagement and democracy in Canada. In 2017, she will travel the country and sit down with former members of Parliament of all political stripes in order to capture their insights about public life and politics. Hilderman lives in Toronto.
