Vietnam - Can Cau Market
Seven hour train ride from the capital Hanoi, then a bumpy two and a half hour drive from the mountain city of Sapa. Drenched in colour and incredibly chaotic, the Can Cau markets offer a kaleidoscopic glimpse into the lives of the local Flower Hmong people and the Chinese villagers that come to trade from across the border 20km to the North.
If you ever get a chance to visit, GO!

Edit: typo in the film, it should be Can* Cau, not Cau Cau. Sorry!

Early morning we reached the Lao Chi station and we got onto a bus to visit the faraway market of Can Cau by the Hill Tribes.
This market is at the very end of North Vietnam and just 9 kms away from the Chinese border. We got to experience some very unique tribal food, lifestyle and people....though the journey was very tiring but we go to experience something different - and that's exactly what travel is all about.
This place is a must visit if you are visiting Sapa.
