The 26th Lost Case of Canadian Club
Notes:
This is a non-scripted, ad libbed video production (completed on first run!) I made to support Doug Vanderby's vie for a spot on Team Canada.

Script:
Rough idea was an extension of my original application for a spot on Team Canada where I would be running around historical landmarks in Windsor, Ontario the birthplace of Canadian Club to find a rumored 26th unknown case, which was left behind. I submitted my original script for corporate approval but it wasn't approved though City of Windsor was willing to provide me full access to Willistead Manor.
A submission was completed but I wasn't shortlisted (don't worry... next time!!!) so am supporting a friend as best as possible to help him realize his dream!
Furthermore, there is no 26th case in existence (100% fabricated) as there were only 25 in the 1960's run produced for the original campaign but thought it would be cool to have a floater one in Windsor, Ontario (again, the birthplace of Canadian Club), which could be found through a series of clues left at Hiram Walker's historical sites including the Canadian Club Brand Heritage Centre.
Only made sense that the hidden case could possibly be located at the Pike Creek Warehouse, a major distribution centre for Walker's located in St. Clair Beach (Ontario).
Clues would be left in prohibition pictures, Walker's son's house (Willistead Manor) located in Walkerville, Pike Creek warehouse, the underground tunnels and an engraving located on the LIGHT at the church! (if you can get this clue, you are good and no I am not I'm telling you, which church... you'll have to do your research on prohibition and smuggling across the Detroit River).
History:
Enabled in the 1960's, Canadian Club developed a unique marketing strategy known as the 'Hide A Case' challenge to promote its brand to consumers in North America and throughout the world.
Fortune brands (UK), now the rights holder, brand manager and owners of Canadian Club reactivated its most exciting campaign, which will give the opportunity to eight adventurers; four from the U.S. and four from Canada to participate in the 2011 Hide A Case Challenge.

U of Windsor Syrian Canadian Club Cultural Week
We are proud to present the Syrian Cultural in the University of Windsor Canada. Thanks for everyone who made this possible!
Thank you Team Canada!
During a recent visit to Windsor, Ontario the birthplace of Canadian Club and home to Hiram Walker and Sons. Ltd. on Thursday, April 7, 2011, Team Canada via Doug Vanderby appointed Jeremy Renaud as an honourary member for Team Canada.
The purpose of their visit added to that of the members of the US team was to learn and experience both the culture and history of Canadian Club through its Canadian Club Brand Heritage Centre.
Renaud was invited to participate in the event and was introduced to members of Team USA and Beam Global staff.
I'm beyond words... said Renaud. When I went through the process of potentially being selected for the team in 2010, I didn't make it, but then saw and opportunity for fellow Canadian swimmer Doug Vanderby realize his dream.
I then made it my mission to assist him through the development of social media strategies and video productions to promote his marketing campaign and am glad that my support helped him.
My 800+ friends on Facebook certainly made a difference and for that I thank them, according to Renaud. They were the difference.
I really wanted to pay it forward J..., said Vanderby. Thank you for your support, you've been a tremendous help!
Renaud also received a Team Canada jacket through Vanderby via Beam Global Spirits & Wine.
Renaud will return in 2012 to potentially represent Windsor, Ontario and Canada, if Canadian Club hosts the Hide A Case challenge again.
I want to do it for the challenge and if I make it great but if I find a case with the 2012 team, I intend to donate the full amount to the City of Windsor toward its 50m capital campaign to build a new Olympic sized aquatic facility, which will benefit 400,000 residents in our community.
Teams Canada and USA will deploy to the pacific on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 1600 hrs EST.
I would like to wish both teams the very best in their adventure but hope for the highest return and success for Team Canada on May 4, 2011.
Here's to adventure...Canadian Club... the choice of champions and Canadians worldwide! says Renaud.

About Chaykit... Roots, Education & Experience!
Hi,
My name is Chaylene…short form, Chay! I am the founder of CHAYKIT...
Welcome to my YT. Feel free to check out Facebook (Chaykit Health & Wellness Page), IG (@Chaykit_) and SC (@chaykit321)...
When I was 11, I learned to belly dance to beautiful Middle Eastern Instrumentals, plus-Biggie Smalls, Missy Elliot, Shakira-and whatever else had a great beat! Not too many slides, pops and shimmies later, my first belly dance showcase was at the Caboto Club in Windsor, Ontario… hence the name “CHAYKIT” (shake-it)!
At 15 years old, I was a Certified as a Group Fitness Instructor with Alliance Fitness Corp. Followed by Canadian Fitness Professionals (CanFit Pro) for Fitness Instructor Specialist and Personal Trainer Specialist at 17 years old. I taught classes such as Belly Dance, aerobics, and muscular conditioning. Later to teach nutrition and wellness workshops locally. For the most part, I always kept myself busy belly dancing at events such as; charities, birthday parties, student functions, city parades, weddings, restaurants, talent shows, school dance projects and more. I went as far as switching high schools-having major appreciation for the arts-graduating from Walkerville Collegiate Institute and Centre of the Arts.
Class of 2010, I received my Diploma of HFNC (Health, Fitness and Nutrition Consultant), from Everest College. During that time, I had the opportunity to apprentice and grow my knowledge of the health and fitness industry. I’ve studied, and expanded my practice and taught Kettle Bell, TRX, Bootcamp, Tabata, Spin. With occasional Kick Boxing, Dance and Yoga.
Chaylene Thompson - Miss Bikini Windsor 20122 years later, I was sponsored by DNA Fitness Studio (Dennis Angileri and Joey Flores), to do my first OPA-Ontario Physique Association-Regional Show. I placed first and overall in Bikini Tall Class (Windsor) on October 6, 2012. Hence the name Miss. Bikini Windsor 2012! Since then, I’ve accomplished 2 more OPA (Provincial Level) Bikini Tall Class shows and I plan to compete again in the future.
At that time, I was volunteering and teaching belly dance classes at YMCA where I met, a great mentor of mine, Dr. William Martin. With public and private lessons, I learned Pranayama (controlled breath) and was introduced to Astanga Yoga. Soon after, I took a Yoga Anatomy course in Windsor with Romano (at Yoga Loft). Since then, I have attended 2 workshops. One of them being with David Robson, the other, Kino McGregor, yoga master teachers in Ashtanga Yoga.
In 2013, I took the position of Assistant Manager at an all women’s facility-Absolute Fitness for Women (West Windsor). During that time, I switched my certification to International Fitness Association (IFA), managed this gym, and taught fitness classes and workshops, at the same time. Within my time there, I learned Cechetti Level 1 Ballet-Teacher Training for about 6 months (with Andrea Strafford) and taught Ballet-Fitness classes. After 2 years with management, I had given up my passion of movement and dancing to be focused in the world of management and business. I needed to learn how to balance them. So, I decided to take some time off. Shortly from there, to resign from my management position…in the name of passion!
Chaylene Thompson, belly dancingI currently perform the Art of Belly Dance, Pole Dance, Burlesque, Soca and Salsa-nationally through Canada. I hope to expand internationally one day. In the meantime, I decided to save up some money and brand myself, to what I now call “chaykit.”
I also became a dōTERRA Wellness Advocate in 2017, educating people and selling the best essential oils in the world! Along with being certified in AromaTouch TECHNIQUE, I am having lots of fun learning and teaching about natural and 100% CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic/Tested Grade) essential oils.
I love the amazing benefits… it is natural medicine after all!
When I am not traveling, I manage my website and create workshops (for those interested in natural health, fitness, nutrition and wellness education and personal and professional growth). I sit on the board of The Coalition for Justice Unity Equity (as a Health and Wellness Specialist) also educating the youth about health.
For the next couple of years, I will be dedicating my time primarily to building an essential oils business, being abroad, dancing and modelling, and role-modelling.
“I will always be a part of the industry of healing. It starts within, we then have the audacity to spread the love and knowledge.”
Thanks for reading...Love, light and prosperity to ALL! Hope to see your beautiful faces soon :)
Chay.
