Canby, Or Geocaching Coin Challenge
March 4, 2019
We visited Canby Oregon in the Mt. Hood territory and completed this coin challenge. There are a few coins left for this series and hope you get a chance to visit. Even if there are no coins left, the caches are great and well worth the trip to find. Each cache brought us to a fun and unique location. We hope to visit again soon.

The Canby Ferry
The Canby Ferry, Oregon
The ferry has room for six cars (or 75 tons) and a total passenger capacity of 49. A toll is charged for all crossings. As of 2013, a passenger car costs $4.00, a motorcycle, bicycle, or pedestrian $2.00, and $24.00 is charged if a vehicle takes up the entire ferry. The ferry, the M.J. Lee II, is a cable ferry powered by electricity provided by overhead lines and is guided across the river by an underwater cable 1.25 inches (32 mm) in diameter,[1] leaving the vessel relatively unaffected by the river's currents.

This is a documentation of the Molalla, Pudding, and Willamette rivers while they were flooding on January 21, 2012.
