5 meter jump into Cangrejal River, La Ceiba, Honduras
This was an awesome but scary jump into the rapid water of the fabolous Cangrejal River located in La Ceiba, Honduras. We calculate that the height of thw cliff and fall was of aprox 5 meters.
Cascada del Río Zacate en La Ceiba, HONDURAS
Si gusta del agua dulce en un entorno natural, río Zacate lo puede sorprender no solamente por su hermosa cascada y posas refrescantes, sino porque aquí también podrá hacer senderismo y camping. ¿Desea preparar una barbacoa? No hay problema, río Zacate tiene asignada una zona especial para ello, con la única condición de llevarse los desechos no orgánicos.
Justo a diez minutos antes de entrar a La Ceiba, llegando por la carretera desde Tela, el viajero encontrará un desvío que conduce al sendero de Río Zacate. Allí deberá pagar una módica cuota para entrar a uno de los secretos mejores guardados de esta zona.
Le recomendamos al viajero seguir el sendero por entre la montaña (una hora) para llegar a las cascadas de este río. Tenga la completa seguridad que encontrará uno de los escenarios tropicales más hermosos de toda Honduras. Río Zacate tiene aguas transparentes color esmeralda. Un verdadero paraíso en la selva.
