The Daigenta Canyon Campground is located in the woods along a mountain stream that leads from the headwaters to Daigenta Lake.
Pre-erected tents and camping supplies are available to rent, and coin showers are onsite so visitors can camp easily. There's also an authentic Italian restaurant onsite.
Visitors can reserve the pizza oven and make and grill their own authentic wood-fired pizza.

You can get to Gala Yuzawa from JR Tokyo Station by Shinkansen in as quickly as 75 minutes. This is the only facility in the world which merges a train station and a ski resort. Along with skiing down genuine slopes at an altitude of 800m, you can also enjoy snow tubing and a walking tour while wearing kanjiki, traditional Japanese snowshoes.

The Daigenta Canyon refers to Daigenta Mountain and Daigenta Lake. It's well-loved as a place of scenic natural beauty.
At the west side of Daigenta Lake is a large suspension bridge called Kibo Bridge. The view of the area around the dike and lakeshore is known for its beauty, and the area is visited by many tourists every year.

This publicly-run hot spring is located on Highway 17, at the Mikuni Kaido Mitsumata Juku. The large log house-style building is easy to spot.
The spring has a low mineral content. The outdoor bath is located under a roof, so bathers can relax outside in any weather.
The hot spring is located near Mitsumata/Kagura Ski Hill so it's a perfect place to stop by after a day of skiing.

This boardwalk was created so that anyone could freely and easily enjoy a stroll through the woods. The project was created with the goal of making a trail without altering the woods.
Trails like this are not unusual overseas, but this is one of only three in Japan: Naeba, Iwate, and Hokuriku. The Naeba trail is the longest in the country at nearly 2km, and the view is known for its beauty.

We're making this trail so that everyone, even people in wheelchairs, can enjoy the woods safely, independently and freely.
Buy a board for ¥1000 and write a message on it. That board will become a part of the trail.

The YOC Yuzawa Outdoor Center is located in the Daigenta Canyon Campground (in the Camp Management Building). It's an information center for outdoor activities and eco tours.
A variety of programs are available, including rental boats for using on Daigenta Lake, barbecuing on the lakeshore, cooking pizza in the campground's pizza oven, nature walking, Nordic walking, and more.
The center can also offer information about trekking and mountain climbing routes around Yuzawa, and suggest ways of getting the most out of Yuzawa's natural surroundings.

There are two trekking courses in Yuzawa that offer visitors an opportunity to have an extended encounter with nature. This particular course is ideal for beginners, and lasts for four to five hours.
The course can either be a four-hour round trip from Yagisawa to Shikatobi Bridge and back, or a five-hour trip from Yagisawa to the Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway Summit Station.

The Daigenta Kobo is a hands-on studio located at the foot of Mt. Daigenta.
Visitors can learn to prepare a variety of local specialties including hegi soba noodles, ambo stuffed buns, dumplings wrapped in bamboo, steamed rice in bamboo, konyaku jelly, bread, and more.
