One Nova Scotia Meeting - CBU - November 14, 2017 Part 1/3
Representatives from Cape Breton Regional Municipality’s municipal, provincial and federal orders of government and First Nations met on Tuesday, November 14 at Cape Breton University. They engaged in a roundtable discussion about our region’s successes and challenges in working toward the goals of the One Nova Scotia report.
As part of CBRM’s 100 Positive Changes Plan, an annual meeting will be hosted by CBRM Council, with invited Members of the Legislature and Members of Parliament, to discuss our region’s progress on the One Nova Scotia (Now or Never) report goals.
Tom Urbaniak of CBU led the roundtable discussion, touching on the report’s 19 goals and 12 game-changing strategies. The meeting was held at the Multiversity Room at Cape Breton University at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 14.
