Really beautiful colour film of a cycling trip around Cape Cod. A group of young men and a woman travel together around Cape Cod. Lovely documentation of their stops along the way and the people they meet.
Seems to start in Putney in Vermont and the tourists travel south east to Northfield in Massachusetts, then onto Petersham, Kendal Green, Stoughton and onto Cape Cod.

Hotel owner Dracula (voice of Adam Sandler) is concerned that his half-human grandson Dennis isn't embracing his vampire heritage. He and his fellow ghouls put Dennis through a monster-in-training boot camp, but their efforts are complicated by the arrival of Dracula's dad, a traditionalist vampire named Vlad (Mel Brooks). I originally wrote In Memoriam for Willem Valkenier (1887-1986) for six horns shortly after his death. Valkenier was the principal horn of the Boston Symphony from 1923 to 1953 and my horn teacher at the New England Conservatory in Boston as well as my personal friend and sometimes mentor for 31 years. I last visited him in the summer of 1985, the year before his death, just outside of Dennis Port, Massachusetts at his home on Cape Cod.
In Memoriam Willem Valkenier was presented for the first time by Francis Orval, his late wife Ruby (Miller) Orval, and the Delaware Horn Ensemble at the Crane School of Music, Potsdam College (State University of New York) on June 21, 1988.
It was only upon listening to Kirsten Sorteberg play the plece that I recognized that the piano version also served as an appropriate memorial for all the other special and beautiful people I have known who have departed this life and with whom I have been so fortunate to share some portion of mine. It is with such reflections that we remember those we love and care for. They remain with us ever faithful and ready as a nourishing source for the life we continue to live filled with memories of their profound influence upon all that we have been and are yet to become.

Blackbird Singing in the Dead of Night
Ohio State University President Michael V. Drake joined former Cardinal Health CEO George Barrett for an acoustic version of The Beatles’ classic “Blackbird.”
“So this is a terrific song. It’s a great song actually for February. It’s Black History Month,” Drake said as he introduced the song. “This is a song written in 1968 by Paul McCartney. [He was] kind of thinking about the things that were happening in the United States at the time and the freedom that was just out of reach for women or African Americans at the time and it’s one that everybody knows.”
The event at the Lincoln Theatre earlier this month was part of the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts’ 50th Anniversary Celebration. CAPA was founded in 1969 to save the historic Ohio Theatre in Columbus.
The nonprofit supports local theaters and arts and culture organizations, and presents national touring shows each year. CAPA is marking 50 years with a year-long community celebration.
Martin Scorsese
Martin Charles Scorsese (/skɔrˈsɛzi/; born November 17, 1942) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and film historian. Part of the New Hollywood wave of filmmaking, he is widely regarded as one of the most significant and influential filmmakers in cinema history. In 1990, he founded The Film Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to film preservation, and in 2007 he founded the World Cinema Foundation. He is a recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award for his contributions to the cinema, and has won an Academy Award, a Palme d'Or, Cannes Film Festival Best Director Award, Silver Lion, Grammy Award, Emmys, Golden Globes, BAFTAs, and DGA Awards.
Scorsese's body of work addresses such themes as Italian American identity, Roman Catholic concepts of guilt and redemption, machismo, modern crime, and gang conflict. Many of his films are also notable for their depiction of violence and liberal use of profanity. He has directed landmark films such as Mean Streets (1973), Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980), The King of Comedy (1983), and Goodfellas (1990), all of which he collaborated on with actor and close friend Robert De Niro. He won the Academy Award for Best Director for The Departed (2006). With eight Best Director nominations to date, he is the most nominated living director, and is tied with Billy Wilder for the second most nominations overall. Since Gangs of New York (2002), he has also been noted for his collaborations with Leonardo DiCaprio.
