Innovative Systems Live Streaming Of Cape Split
Innovative Systems on September 3, 2011, traveled to the remote location of Cape Split to broadcast live video for 2 hours. Innovative has developed a live broadcasting platform that can be used to broadcast audio/video anywhere there is cell phone service.
Cape Split is one of the most phenomenal landscapes in eastern North America and worth the 16 km return trip to see it.
The trail is averaged to take about two to four hours one way. The terrain is moderate for the most part but does have some challenge.
The Nova Scotia Provincial Government has succeeded in purchasing the 280 hectares (700 acres) of wilderness that the trail is located on. The trail starts by the sign at the end of the parking lot situated across from the house. You start off at sea level and climb about 200 ft to an open field on top of shear cliffs that drop down to the Bay of Fundy.

Cessna 172 Port Hawksebury to Debert (Nova Scotia - Canada)
Port Hawkesbury is a small municipal airport in picturesque Cape Breton Nova Scotia. This flight took us from there to Debert (aprox 80 miles west) but do to strong head winds it took us over an hour to get there.
The Debert airfield was built during WWII and served as a training field for new pilots destined for the war in Europe.
It lies near the Bay of Fundy - claim to fame - highest tides in the world- averaging 33 feet.
