WORLD FAMOUS AFRICAN PENGUINS | Boulders Beach | Simon's Town, Cape Town, South Africa
The beautiful Boulders Beach is one of Cape Town’s most visited beaches and the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins.Boulders Penguin Colony in Simons Town is home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins. This colony is one of only a few in the world, and the site has become famous and a popular international tourist destination.The Boulders section of table mountain national park consists of 3 pristine beaches, 1 penguin viewing area and 3 boardwalks. The boardwalks were built as a measure to allow for viewing of these wonderful birds, whilst keeping them safe from poking fingers, so please be sure to stay on the boardwalks at all times within the viewing area.This beach is ideal as immense boulders shelter the cove from currents, wind and large waves.It is one of best things to see in Cape Town.

Amazing Cape Town, South Africa--Video tour of the City, Cape Of Good Hope and Simons Town!
This video was shot in September, 2018 in and around Cape Town with some friends who had never been to Cape Town. We start out in the city, including the wonderful Victoria and Alfred waterfront area and take a ride on The Cape Wheel for some spectacular views over the city. We also take a trip up to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders Of Nature! Then we're off for a drive down the coast along the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive to The Cape of Good Hope. The scenery is stunning! Then we hit Boulders Beach in Simons Town to check out the cool penguins! We return to Cape Town and stop by historic St George's Anglican Cathedral to listen to some wonderful organ music. If you enjoy the tour, please give it a thumbs up. Simons Town and Surrounds
After a long trip from our home in South Australia, we landed in Cape Town, and drove down to Simons Town, for our first few days of our South African adventure.
It was both exhilarating and daunting being in a completely new place, we managed to find our way to Simons Town without maps, and found driving past all the Cape Flats really interesting.
Upon arriving in Simons Town, we loved the beauty of the place, and were excited to explore its surroundings.
We visited a couple of different spots with African Penguins, the most impressive being Boulders Beach, I was so happy to see such an effort to protect the species, beautiful coastal reserve for them, and artificial homes built into the dunes to ensure warmth for every penguin!
We visited Cape Point/ Cape Of Good Hope, which is stunning, and reminds me a lot of home. It was windy, but beautiful! Some animals we saw along the way were Chacma Baboons, Eland, and Rock Dassie’s.
We hunted down some surf through Kommetjie and Scarborough, which wasn’t a huge success but absolutely loved the towns, and the coastline.
I was a HUGE fan of Whole Earth Cafe in Scarborough, so great to meet some fellow vegans, and chat to some very friendly locals, who also gave us some advice where to stay further up north in our travels.

My first Adventure on the Yamaha in South Africa- The Cape Peninsula and Simons Town
South AFrica Adventure Riding- Episode 10
Finally I get the yamaha on the road for the very first adventure ! Justin- the son of the family I'm staying with- joins me on a cool little loop around the southern peninsula of Cape town. In total we did about 150km. A short route- But very scenic and lots to see ! My highlight... the Penguins of course !! Hope you enjoyed our little day adventure.

I am in Capetown, the Mother Cityand I head down to Simon's Town with my wife on a cloudy day when things don't go all our way. On a miserable looking morning we are determined to show you why this place is the best town in the Cape and take some beautiful drone footage, dodge the sea gulls, visit the penguins and avoid getting into trouble on an active Naval base!

This is a film of the one couple who is traveling around the world.We are going central america at first, then going to south america, Europa,Africa,and Asia.
小さな海沿いの街、サイモンズタウン。海沿いを通る喜望峰への道の途中、一瞬で通り過ぎてしまう、本当に小さな街。でも近くにペンギンの住む浜があり、沖にはクジラが現れ、突然すぎて撮れなかったけどハーバーには普通にアザラシがひっくり返って泳ぐ。建物はヨーロッパの雰囲気でオシャレな感じだけれど、街全体の形がどこか西部劇に出てくるようなソレに見えて、ふむうなるほどと考える。大航海時代、そしてその後ヨーロッパから世界中へ移住した入植者たち。アメリカもオーストラリアもニュージーランドもインドも南アフリカも、でもって南米もアジアもその他のたくさんの国々も、彼らが持ち込んだものが基盤となって今も続いている。それが良かったことなのか、侵略だったのか。アフリカに入って、白人という存在が、何だか妙に気にかかる。

Wonderful Cape Town, South Africa Slideshow Plus Coast, Cape Of Good Hope, Simons Town!
This slideshow was made as we showed some friends around Cape Town. We start with some time we spent in the city itself. This includes the downtown and Victoria and Albert waterfront areas as well as going inside of the Castle Of Good Hope which was built in 1666. Then we take you up to the top of the famous Table Mountain, one of the New7Wonders Of Nature- up above the clouds! Then we go down the beautiful coastal areas to the Cape Of Good Hope where we eat lunch and see lots of interesting wildlife, some up close! Then we go to Simons Town to see the penguins during a downpour! No animals were harmed shooting this video and no cell phones were used! I did use the following Panasonic cameras: DC GH5, LX10 and G85. Hope you enjoy the tour!
