After almost 3 hours of riding my motorcycle we finally reached the tail part of Mindanao the Cape of San Agustin Parola in Governor Generoso Mati Davao Oriental

We visited my girlfriend's cousin at Tibanban, Davao Oriental. And we've decided to make a quick video. We've enjoyed the place since there's a lot of fruits in there and we have noticed that it is one of the most progressive barangay of the said province! People are amazing, they work as one team, so kind and hospitable. The beach is so refreshing!

To give you a small background,
Cape San Agustin is the seventh ship of the Parola-class patrol vessels of the Philippine Coast Guard.
Cape San Agustin Lighthouse is located in Lavigan, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.
It's the MOST SOUTHEASTERN PART OF PHILIPPINES!
Going there was not an easy trip.you have option going there.
One is to ride a BUS and a HABAL HABAL (filipino paid motorcycle with the driver)
or just directly rent a BAO BAO or a common tricycle ride in Davao Oriental. In this case, we chose bao bao and paid 1500 to Kervin, one of the resident tricycle driver in Mati City. Where we came from.

It was such a worth it but one of the BEST TRIPS i had! imagine! at the SouthEastern Part of Philippines with its radiance and beauty! All Natural! :) i'm gonna go back again for sure! :)

One blog post Tripzilla.ph calls it as the Museum and Parks Capital of the Philippines ( With my recent overnight trip with some friends, I was able to visit 2 of the 9 spots listed in the article namely the Cape San Agustin Eco Park in General Generoso and the Mt. Hamiguitan World Heritage Park in San Isidro. I enjoyed my short time in these places and I'm really looking forward to go back to Davao Oriental and experience more of it.
