GOREME, Cappadocia to ISTANBUL - Night bus in Turkey
Finally heading to the magical city of Istanbul from the fairytale region of Cappadocia. This was our second to last bus journey in Turkey and we were very impressed with the great bus company!
We were racing against the clock with this journey - that's the hazard of arranging to meet your Air BnB host before they go to work!

The LONG Journey from Istanbul to Cappadocia, Turkey
Vlog #528 Istanbul to Cappadocia, Turkey // In today’s huge travel vlog, we had to take 6 means of transportation, which ended up being 8… because we got on the wrong bus going to the wrong airport! It was a super long day, but we still had time to go in an airport lounge! AND it was all worth it to get there because Cappadocia and the cave we booked to live in were both awesome! Plus we filled you in on our Ramadan experience :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
Sanliurfa to Goreme, Cappadocia - Travel by night bus in Turkey
From the bus stop at Sanliurfa to buy our tickets and our typical walk back to save money, to sleeping in the Nevsehir otogar and waiting for the first bus rather than take a taxi... this is an insight into our everyday life as perpetual travellers.
This is a snapshot of our trip to Cappadocia. There isn't a direct bus from Sanliurfa to Goreme but 2 buses run daily to Nevsehir:
1st bus: leaves at 12:00 - arriving at 10:30pm (too late for the last dolmus to Goreme so it's 80 TL for a taxi!)
2nd bus: leaves at 9pm - arrives at 5:30am (only a 2 hour wait for the 1st dolmus!)
This is a glimpse into the way we travel... quite ad hoc, a lot of walking and ice cream... and occasionally suffering to save money!

ISTANBUL TO CAPPADOCIA BUS | Turkey Travel Vlog | Travel Talk Tours #1
Istanbul to Cappadocia by bus is long! This is our first travel vlog on our Turkey trip with Travel Talk Tours and we're Kapadokya...✈ Our 220 page guide on how to travel non-stop —
Today is the start of an epic journey around Turkey on the 11 day Anzac tour with Travel Talk Tours (linked below), we'll make about 7 travel vlogs and be sharing the whole experience, beyond just Cappadocia, which is interestingly called Kapadokya by the locals.
In this vlog we start our tour and go from Istanbul to Cappadocia by bus for 12 hours, seeing loads of the Turkey countryside and even travel through snow. Although Istanbul has lots to offer, we'll be sharing a vlog or two from there at the back of the Travel Talk Tour.
Cappadocia is one of the most popular places in Turkey and has been on our bucket list for some time now, mostly because of the hot air ballooning that's famous in the area. It's a crazy landscape that has to be seen to be believed, so check back for our next vlog as we explore Cappadocia in the snow!
Here's the trip we're taking with Travel Talk Tours around Turkey for 11 days —

Our Cave Hotel In Cappadocia | Goreme | Turkey Travel | In Hindi
#Cappadocia #LuxuryVilla #HindiVlog Cappadocia is the place which is in the mind of many travelers. Whether it's Cappadocia hot air balloon rides, amazing fairy chimneys or it's underground city, this region has something to offer for everyone. If you are planning your travel to turkey, Istanbul or Cappadocia, I have all the information for you in my Turkey Travel Vlogs. How to plan trip to turkey is very common question in everyone's mind, and I believe you can plan your trip after watching my this travel series.
Turkey is one of the most amazing country where East meets West and getting visa to visit turkey is also not a very complex process. If someone has valid Schengen visa, residence card, they can get turkish tourist visa online in 10 minutes. Cost for the visa was around 45$
We started our journey to Istanbul from Amsterdam, we flew from Turkish airlines and it was a comfortable 3.5 hours flight. As we always do, we had pre-ordered our vegetarian food in the flight and it was good. We landed at new Istanbul airport which started in April 2019 only and it was very huge and modern.
We were staying only for one night in Istanbul and was traveling to Cappadocia next day morning so we had booked a hotel which was close to Istanbul airport but that airport is now closed and new airport is around 40 KMs away from city.
There are many ways to come to Istanbul city from airport, you can get airport taxis, buses etc and buses are mostly common means to transport and it's also cost effective. We took Istanbul card and recharged it with 100 Turkish Lira and reached to place which was close to our hotel. From there we took the taxi which costs 30 TL and we reached to hotel which was basic but value for money hotel and then we explored the neighborhood for dinner.
Next morning we got up early to catch our flight, we hired a taxi just from outside of our hotel and reached airport, it costs around 140 TL. We had our quick breakfast and coffee at airport, which costs around 70 TL and boarded our flight from new airport to Kayseri.
At Kayseri, we had already arranged pre-booked taxi from our hotel for just 35 TL per person, as soon as taxi received all the guests, we started from airport to Goreme city where we stayed at this beautiful property, Harman Cave Hotel. This was a perfect cave hotel in Cappadocia on the hills and we had amazing view of the fairy chimneys and hot air balloons from the open terrace of the hotel. After check-in, we took some rest before we started our quick trip to city center for lunch.
Thanks for watching and keep following my travel in turkey. I releases video every week, Wednesday & Saturday, 8 AM IST.

Turkey part 2, this time we explore Istanbul and take a night Bus to Neshvir/ Göreme also known as the region of kapadokya. UNESCO world heritage !! a must see region ! Known for the hot air ballon rides, sadly all rides were cancelled during our stay, due to winds. But it´s still gorgeous. We were also lucky to be there in low season, so it was not crowded at all.
