Editing Service: Scuba Diving in Capri, Italy
A short highlights video I edited for a client after they brought back their underwater GoPro footage from scuba diving in Capri, Italy.
I see so many people with GoPros diving these days and the comment I always hear is I have the footage but don't know what to do with it now - and that's the problem. It's easy to shoot loads of video, but when you get home do hobbyists have the ability to turn it into something fun and entertaining? Often not.
That's why I am now offering a seriously affordable, simple editing service to turn people's footage into something shareable. and something you can look back on for years to come. This includes music, color correction, digital stabilization and subtitles if desired - above or below water! Contact me if you're interested :)

Tour of the Island of Capri, Campania Region, Italy
Capri is an Italian island in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples, in the Campania region of Southern Italy. It has been a resort since the time of the Roman Republic.
Features of the island are the Marina Piccola (the little harbour), the Belvedere of Tragara, which is a high panoramic promenade lined with villas, the limestone crags called sea stacks that project above the sea (the Faraglioni), Anacapri, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas.
Capri is part of the region of Campania, Province of Naples. The town of Capri is the main centre of population on the island. It has two harbours, Marina Piccola and Marina Grande (the main port of the island). The separate comune of Anacapri is located high on the hills to the west.
Capri is a tourist destination for both Italians and foreigners. In the 1950s, Capri became a popular destination. In summer, the island is heavily visited by tourists, especially by day trippers from Naples and Sorrento.
Capri is served by ferry or hydrofoil from Naples, Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi as well as by boat services from the ports of the Bay of Naples and the Sorrentine Peninsula. Naples is served by two ports, Mergellina and Molo Beverello. Molo Beverello has a higher frequency of departures and a larger selection of boats than Mergellina.
From Naples, the ferry takes 80 minutes, and the hydrofoil 40 minutes. From Sorrento, the ferry takes about 40 minutes while the hydrofoil takes about 20 minutes.
Boats call at Marina Grande, from where a funicular goes up to Capri town. From Anacapri town, a chair lift takes passengers to the top of the island.

Travel Guide - Capri Italy - Chair Lift to top of Monte Solaro - Isle of Capri
When traveling to southern Italy, one must see is the Island of Capri, a simple 40 minute boat ride from Naples Italy, or Napoli. We hope to show you a quick look at what to expect during your travels. 1. Fly to Naples Italy 2. Take a taxi to the Porto, but negotiate the rate first or make sure the cab driver doesn't hide the meter, Say turn on the meter. 3. Once at the port purchase a ticket from SNAV to Capri. It can be hard to find but look for Capri on the ticket window then the word SNAV. 4. Once in Capri, give your bags to the Porter and tell them what hotel you are at. 5. We recommend La Minerva hotel, small, quite and ridiculously good customer service from Antonia, Luigi, and Marco. 6. Then Go the the arch that says Funiculare... that's the cable car up to the Square. 7. Once in the Capri square, walk out of the Funiculare and up the stairs to the main square and go RIGHT, towards the ticket booth labeled Anacapri. Buy a ticket for the bus which will take you to up to Anacapri... note, if you don't like heights, sit down on the bus and don't look out the Right side of the bus, it's a crazy high cliff and the bus is a bit precarious. 8. Once in Anacapri the bus will drop you at the main area then to get to the Chair lift to the top, look for or ask for the seggiovia... then buy a ticket, only a couple Euro. Then that will take you all the way to the top. FYI, bring a jacket in case you hit clouds on the way up, it can get very chilly! But it's awesome. The view of all of Anacapri and Capri can be seen from up on top of Monte Solaro.
Hope this helps your travels.

Paid $85 for an almost private 2 hour tour in small group with snorkeling & observing the Arco Naturale, Red Cave, White Cave, Green Cave, Lion Rocks and swimming twice while looking for colorful fishes. Lemoncello, Wine, Beer, snacks are provided. Didn't see the Blue Cave because can't take pix there and way too much waiting in line. All in all amazing experience!! A fully private tour cost 150 Euro for 2 hours, so the tour I did had a better value, recommended! Booked on getyourguide.com I think

Places to see in ( Capri - Italy ) I Faraglioni
Places to see in ( Capri - Italy ) I Faraglioni
Capri's most iconic sight is the dramatic Faraglioni, three towering rock formations which jut out from the Mediterranean just off the island's coast. A snapshot with this breathtaking group of sea stacks in the background is a must for all visitors to Capri.
The best way to view the Faraglioni, however, is by sea during a boat tour of the island. Your skipper will sail right through the stone archway of the Faraglione di Mezzo: if you're with your sweetheart, be sure to exchange a kiss while passing through for good luck
For a dip in the sea in the shadow of the Faraglioni, there are two beaches on the island shore directly opposite the sea stacks: La Fontelina and da Luigi. To reach these rocky beaches, take the footpath from the Tragara scenic overlook. If you'd rather not climb back up after your day of basking in the sun, there's a ferry service which will take you to Marina Piccola.
This corner of the Island of Capri was a favorite of the ancient Romans, who built sumptuous villas overlooking the Faraglioni along these shores. During the 1900s, artists and intellectuals colonized Capri once again, finding creative inspiration from the beauty and serenity of the island.

Southern Italia (Capri, Napoli, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Pompeii)
Pictures from our wonderful trip to Southern Italy (Capri, Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii & Naples) put to music. This video is 23 mins in length. Sorry I couldn't get it to 10 mins. There were way too many great pictures so I had to include them all :) We stayed on Capri at the Hotel Weber Ambassador and traveled back and forth by Hydro ferry from Capri to Naples. Wonderful Hotel. When visiting Amalfi we took a guided tour which I purchased as part of my vacation package through Expedia. I also purchased a similar guided tour package of Pompeii. I highly recommend both tours. We visited many spots by minivan, but mostly walked when at the popular attractions. In Capri and Anacapri you can get around by bus or car service. The Blue Grotto tour you can get to by tour boat right from Marina Grande in Capri. All other tours on Capri/Anacapri you can complete by foot. There are so many things to see in southern Italy. We definitely plan on visiting again soon! Photos in this video can be appreciated without the video motion here
Also, music in this video came from a CD I picked up n a whim. It turned out to be a great CD! Dinner in Italy
