A day for hire sailboat that takes you out for the proverbial 'two hour tour', but without the shipwreck,,,,at $28 bucks a head, a little pricey, but a whole lot cheaper than buying a boat,,,,,the ship is the 'captain Kidd' on the boardwalk at Kemah just south of houston and a plesant stop on our way to Galveston State Park and a tour of Galveston after the Hurricane,,,,more home movies to follow,,,,,anyway, with the sun in your eyes and the wind in your hair,, watch for a few minutes, you might like it !!

Year Round Heart of Sailing Kemah
The Heart of Sailing foundation is a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) international organization which provides a nautical adventure and sailing recreational therapy FREE for cognitively impaired (e.g., Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, etc.) children. Teaching sailing to our Special Needs children as a form of therapy has proven to be an exhilarating experience, yet calming, tranquil and highly rewarding for the children, their parent(s),care giver(s) as well as those of those who serve them.
The Heart of Sailings Houston-Galveston Chapter is one of twelve and is only known service of its kind in the United States. It is unique in that, not only is it free, but it is offered but weekly, throughout the entire year.
