We spent a great day walking through some caves in Aricebo, Puerto Rico. It was a good hike and experience learning about how Taino indians' used these caves, as well as the local wildlife to live in. In the caves, you'll find Taino carvings, drawings, sleeping bats, and a breathtaking view of the mountains for miles. The Adventure Window Caves is a definite 'must see' on a trip to Puerto Rico!

Puerto Rico’s financial crisis just keeps getting worse because Congress can’t pass legislation needed to help the island. Gov. Alejandro García Padilla said on Sunday that the territory’s Government Development Bank will not make a $422 million payment that is due by May 1st because Puerto Rico needs the money to provide essential public services.
If Congress does not act soon it is clear that Puerto Rico will continue to miss bond payments. It has to pay nearly $2 billion on July 1, an amount it will be very hard pressed to come up with.

Tanama River Adventures in Puerto Rico | Morgan Madness
During our time in Puerto Rico this summer we went on this half day excursion with Tanama River Adventures on the western side of the island. Be sure to subscribe to Morgan Madness:
We did hiking, rappelling, cliff jumping, and some cave river tubing. The first part of the video has some smudges on the lense of the camera that makes it a bit hazy in the bright light and without a viewfinder I couldn't tell it was recording like that until viewing it later.

Hiking the Window Cave (Cueva Ventana) in Michael Kors Sandals
Cueva Ventana (Window Cave) in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, is an incredible hike through caves where rats, snakes, and bats are. I do not recommend hiking in Michael Kors sandals. The tour guides provide you with a helmet to protect you. At the end, you are treated with an incredible view! Well worth the $20! Cueva Ventana is about an hour drive west of San Juan.
