Mayan Ruins in Tulum Mexico: Cozumel Shore Excursion on Western Caribbean Cruise
Join us on this excellent tour of the Mayan Ruins in Tulum Mexico. This was a shore excursion offered by our cruise ship when we docked in Cozumel. It was the second stop on our Western Caribbean Cruise.
Cenote Snorkel in Cozumel, Carnival Cruise, Turtle Cove & Cavern Snorkel Part 2
The Turtle Cove & Cavern Snorkel Excursion was one of the best excursions we've done. We snorkeled in two crystal clear underground caves that are known as the Two Eyed Cenote. During this refreshing swim we learned about the rock formations. Our adventure concluded at the Wah Wah Beach Bar with drinks and a lunch buffet.
Don't forget to watch part 1 where we took the boat from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen and snorkeled with turtles and sting rays off of a beautiful beach.
This was the last stop on our December 2015 Carnival Conquest 6 night Western Caribbean Cruise.

Club Cozumel Caribe Beach⛱ in Mexico | Tropical Fish Snorkeling During 7 Carnival Cruise Vacation
Best travel light vacation kit ➜ Club Cozumel Caribe Beach was awesome and I highly recommend this sweet vacation spot. This was a quick video clip of my mini summer vacation. This was actually one of 3 destination we went to via a 7 Day Carnival Cruise. We went to 7 mile beach in Cozumel, Mexico and we didn't go to any carnival cruise excursions. We just took a taxi to where ever we wanted to go and just explored around. Everything was recorded with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver edition action camera. I took a trip to Cozumel, Mexico. The resort I stayed at was called Club Cozumel where the beach was beautiful and the ocean was clear with tropical fish. There was even a nice restaurant with amazing authentic Mexican food and plenty of fun activities to engage in.

Carnival cruise excursion: Tulum, Mexico
So, Eileen and I got out of the woods and tried our hands at our very first cruise. Most people who take cruises love them. However, in our case it was eh ok. We didn't love it or hate it. But those Mayans tho. We loved it! Our visit to Tulum was amazing and way too short. See the full video on Eileen's channel listed below. Tulum Mayan Ruins - Cruise Excursion 4K
The Tulum Mayan Ruins is an extremely popular tourist destination located in Mexico. Tulum is just a short distance from Cancún and Playa del Carmen on the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. It is one of the best-preserved Maya sites.
The Tulum ruins are situated on a 40 foot cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. There is a staircase down to the beach where visitors can swim at one of the most breathtaking beaches.
There are bus tours that stop at Tulum each day. It is also a very popular cruise excursion. Cruise lines such as Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival have tours that go to Tulum when in port at Cozumel, Mexico.
This video is a complete overview of the Tulum Mayan Ruins tour excursion through Norwegian Cruise Lines.
It starts off with a 40 minute ferry ride from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. After you arrive, there is a short walk to a coach bus. The bus ride to Tulum is about 50 minutes long. Once in Tulum your tour guide will take you around the ruins and give you a very informative and entertaining overview of the ancient Mayan City. The guided tour takes about 45 minutes. After the guided tour you have about 90 minutes to explore on your own. You can take that time to walk around the ruins or go swimming at the beautiful beach 40 feet below the cliffs. After that you head back to Playa del Carmen and board the ferry back to Cozumel.
There is a short clip of my amazing tour guide, Juan. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. If you take the tour, hopefully you get him because he was great!
In the clip, Juan is talking about the one day a year that the sunrise perfectly lines up to shine directly through the temple window. That day just so happens to be June 21, the summer solstice.
In the video you will see the 3 major structors at Tulum.
Pyramid El Castillo (The Castle)
Templo Dios del Viento (God of Winds Temple)
Temple of the Frescos

Elite Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel Excursion- Cozumel, Mexico - Carnival Paradise Travel Vlog
Finally made it to Part 2 of our travel vlog in Cozumel, Mexico- Day 4 of our Carnival Paradise Cruise. This video is dedicated just for the excursion we went on the Elite Champagne Catamaran Sail & Snorkel.
When we were originally researching excursions for our cruise, we could not find any legit videos on this excursion. So this problem actually is what inspired us to make this video. We hope having this video out there will help you with your decision when booking your excursion while visiting Cozumel.
Overall Thoughts:
The crew on the ship was awesome.
Price was more than fair given the service/ drinks/ food/ boat/ snorkeling etc.
snorkel sights were ok. Not the best but certainly not bad. we did see a ton of fish during the first stop.
Negative: I really dislike guided tours. Would rather have free range snorkeling at both stops. Stop 1 was guided.
Stop 2 was actually free range. However, only downside was the extreme current. You had to keep kicking just to stay close to the boat. ( which was exhausting) But if you are out of shape or do not like snorkeling, you can still chill and keep drinking on the boat and enjoy the excellent Cozumel scenery.
I thought 35 people would feel clustered but it wasn't bad at all. still comfortable and crew was still able to provide some 1 on 1 service.
Would definitely recommend this excursion!!!

Carnival Paradise Cenote Hopping Excursion Cozumel
This was our super fun long day Cenote hopping! Not our first excursion choice, but it ended up being so much fun! We started in Cenote Kay with the fish in spas that will eat your dead skin. Next was Cenote La Cueva, which had an amazing zip line trapeze bar you let go into the water. Next was Cenote Naval, the largest of the four, where we rode a zipline and paddled a canoe. Finally, the clearest and most beautiful, Cenote Azul. After the hopping, we went and ate a traditional Mayan lunch. Sadly this was our last excursion day. Until next time, Mexico!
