CN Train Running Thru the Town of Jasper in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
Bighorn sheep eating our car! (Jasper National Park, Canada)
We were halted by these inquisitive animals while driving down Maligne Valley Road in Jasper, AB. Within a few minutes, we were crowded by both sheep and also tourists taking pictures of our funny plight!!! We stayed for about 30 minutes before moving on due to a rainstorm. At one point we counted over 10 bighorn sheep climbing, bucking, and in general vying for a spot to lick our car clean! :D
Still no clue what they liked so much about our car.

Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver to Jasper - Rainforest to Gold Rush - Unravel Travel TV
Breathtaking Rocky Mountaineer railway scenery on the Rainforest to Gold Rush journey. Carve through extreme landscapes of British Columbia’s coastal rainforest, the rugged Fraser Canyon, and the historic Cariboo gold rush region.
Enjoy some of the most breathtaking and varied rail scenery found anywhere in the world on this route. Travel past stunning lakes, through the coastal rainforest and the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon into the vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Visit the Gold Pan City of Quesnel, journey through the Rocky Mountain Trench, be awestruck by spectacular Mount Robson, and arrive in the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies.
Amazing Sights Along the Way include:
Howe Sound - North America's southernmost fjord, Howe Sound extends from West Vancouver towards Squamish, offering an expansive playground for sailing, diving, fishing, and ocean gazing.
Porteau Cove - Complete with clear waters and an old sunken ship to explore, Porteau Cove is a diver's dream come true.
Green Lake - Named for its milky jade-coloured water, Green Lake is surrounded by birch trees and smiling swimmers who may be blissfully unaware of how cold glacial water can be.
Anderson Lake - Views of mountain peaks, endless sunshine, and pristine water conditions make this lake a secret recreational paradise. The tracks follow the lakeshore for 24 kilometres (15 miles).
Seton Lake - Once upon a time, Seton and Anderson Lakes were one body of water. Cut in two by an ancient landslide, Seton Lake is now a greener, milkier shade than her blue-watered sister.
Fraser Canyon - During the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush, the Grand Canyon of the North was flooded with over 10,000 gold prospectors eager to stake a claim.
Mount Robson - Also known as The Great White Fright, Mount Robson claims the title of the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at a staggering 3,954 meters (12,972 feet).
Jasper - Adrenaline seekers and star gazers unite. As the largest of Canada's mountain parks, Jasper offers unlimited outdoor activities (day or night). Dip your toes in the biggest glacially-fed lake in the Rockies or watch star systems wheeling across the world's second largest Dark-Sky Preserve. Don't stay out too late though! You'll want to pack as much exploration as possible into your stay here.

Banff National Park - A Wild Year
12 months. Four seasons. One revolution around the sun.
That's how long Banff National Park's remote wildlife camera project has been going and to celebrate, we've assembled a year's worth of images from one single location into a short Wild Images video timelapse.
Have a look -- you'll be amazed by how much goes on. And it all happened a short two-and-a-half-hour stroll from the hustle and bustle of downtown Banff!
It goes to show how alive the woods are and, if you get into them, what you might be lucky enough to see!

Rails to Romance - a film from about 1946 about the PGE made by the BC government
Till the early 1950s the PGE (BC Rail) only went from Squamish to Quesnel. PGE was owned by the government and generally neglected until WAC Bennett was elected in 1952. He completed the line to North Vancouver and Prince George by the mid 1950s
I have to admit this is strange film because I have no real idea who they are trying to appeal to. It is a tourism film, sort of, but it spends much of the film extolling the industries along the PGE route. I am not sure who that was intended to attract
