Caribou Island Lighthouse October 2016 - Prior to dismantling.
I wanted to show the amazing lighthouse that has been a part of my families' entire life as we are fortunate enough to have a cottage on Caribou Island. When I heard there was a chance this lighthouse may be torn down I wanted to capture it in it's beauty before anything happened and this last week (October 20th) the government allowed for part of it to be dismantled without telling anyone it would be happening.
I put this little video together using aerial drone as well as land based cameras. The background music is my own original music that is nautical in theme so I hope it adds to the cinematic appeal of the video.

I took the ferry from Caribou, Nova Scotia, Canada to Wood Islands, P.E.I., Canada. The trip takes about 75 minutes and transports both cars and passengers. Shot in September 2017.
