Here's the full monologue Dave Grohl dedicated to us, the Rockin'1000 musicians and staff, about his reactions upon seeing the video and his opinion about it on the European Tour opening concert in my hometown, the small Cesena, on november the third.
We will never forget this.

So! Let me tell you. This has never happened before, right? Is this the first time?
This is now a revolution, but you people who... Who! Who's in the Rockin'1000? Who played it?
Crazy motherfuckers, you, that's you right? Crazy! Motherfuckers.
First of all, we have to say, thank you to all of the musicians that are here tonight, thank you very much.
It's crazy!
Tutti pazzi, it's fucking crazy
What you guys did, you know, the whole world saw what you did right? The whole fucking world!
Millions and millions of people saw what you did. It's a beautifoul thing.It's real, it's fucking crazy.

I was on a vacation, and my phone was like bling bling bling bling bling from all my friends.

But then, after one hundred texts, I looked at one. I was like What the fuck?!?
And then I fucking cried. Cause it was crazy. Because, you know: we do the music, we do it in our basement, or studio.
It's very simple. We write the songs, and then we make the record, and we don't really think about the rest of the world.
And then we see you people, singing our song, for the whole fucking world. To me, was like really amazing.
So! So, of course, we couldn't say no. We had to come here. You chained us, we had to come here.
I hope, you should do the same thing for fucking... Do it for U2, do it for Pearl Jam, do it for [?], do it for Rage Against The Machine, do it for everyone.
And if they say no, than you say Vaffanculo. Stronzi.
