Visit Carlingford take a journey down to the beautiful scenic Marina to chat to Jessica who has just opened a fantastic new bar and café Rabelo. The Marina was built back in the 1980's and developed to what you see today. It has some of the best views in Ireland's when sitting having a bite to eat or drink.
The newly open Greenway is right on their doorstep which is ideal for people looking a snack before they head on their walk or Cycle. On Yer Bike have opened up at the start of the Greenway offering rental bikes for adults and kids.
If you are coming to the Carlingford area be sure to pop in Rabelo and enjoy so great food and breathtaking views.

The 13th of May 2012, the Cherubino Sailing Team goes for a training in Carlingford lough but soon the session is aborted. A force 8 is blowing offshore and the lough is much more dangerous than expected. Once sheltered in the marina with no breakdowns except ... the engine, we caught that little baby on the cam.

The Peninsula's landscape has witnessed the footsteps of Irish giants, the Celtic warriors Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill and is also home to the last leprechauns of Ireland. This legendary setting offers adventure, activity, horse riding, sailing, bird watching, golfing, angling, walking trails and heritage tours within its breath taking scenery.
Carlingford Lough Greenway ( Newry to Victoria Lock ) Drone View In 4K
The long anticipated 5.7km stretch of the New Carlingford Lough Greenway opened for use on Friday 4 May.
Phase 1 of the Greenway from Newry to the Weir on the Middlebank was funded by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council through the Landfill Communities Fund administered by Ulster Wildlife.
The Council, in partnership with Louth County Council, secured funding of 3.46 million euros from the European Union’s INTEREGG VA, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), to deliver Phase 2 of the Carlingford Lough Greenway from the Weir on the Middlebank to Omeath, and from Carlingford Marina to Carlingford. Phase 2 will build on the recently completed, and already popular, Carlingford Marina to Omeath Greenway and is scheduled to be completed in 2020. Once open it will be known as the Carlingford Lough Greenway.
