Carmarthen Town Centre including the castle and the statue of General Nott (who in case you were wondering was a victorian hero from the Afgan wars); see
As the Afgan wars were pretty much a disaster for Britain, Nott is an unusual hero. The bronze statue was cast from cannon captured at the Battle of Maharajpur. Queen Victoria gave 200 guineas to the memorial fund.

Carmarthen Castle is based near the centre of the town about five to 10 minuities walk, It has sitting outside and it is a nice ruin of a castle to look around. Outside the castle their are information boards to tell you information about Carmarthen Castle. You do have to go up a hill to reach the Castle, so not the best place for people with walking difficulties.

Swansea Market Poem by David Hughes
A poem about Swansea Market by local poet David Hughes is brought to life by market traders in this short film. The poem describes the rich sights, tastes and smells of Swansea Market produce.
Stephen Donnelly, a post-graduate student at University of Wales Trinity Saint David coordinated the project for Swansea Market and Creative Bubble. Creative Bubble is a University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Swansea BID initiative. It seeks to impact upon the social and economic prospects of Swansea by putting on unusual events and happenings across Swansea City Centre.
Poet David Hughes spent most of his life living in Swansea. He trained as a teacher at Trinity College, Carmarthen and taught in the West Midlands and Swansea for five years before becoming a social worker. David worked for social services in West Glamorgan, Dyfed and Swansea for 32 years specialising in mental health and adult protection. He retired in 2007.
His poetry has appeared extensively, including in Celyn, Planet, Poetry Wales, Radical Wales, Swagmag, Symbols and The Western Mail. David's poems have also been published in anthologies from Heinemann, Alun Books, Parthian and Seren. His collection Tidy Boy (Swansea Poetry Workshop, 1998) won the Harri Webb prize in 1999.
The film was made and produced by Turnshoe Productions (Harry Boast and Caylee Coote), a graduate start up from University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
The film was also made to promote the 'Love Your Local Market' event that is running May 14th -- 28th 2014.

Public House and Restaurant in Llanedi Carmarthenshire For Sale
Llanedi, Dyfed, Wales
Advert Ref: 3076
Business Description
Preferred Commercial is delighted to offer for sale this busy public house and restaurant with letting rooms, which was established by our client in 1994 and which is only now being offered to the market due to our client's wish to retire. The business trades 7 days a week and generates a turnover in the region of £711,500 with a gross profit of 57%. Tarfarn-Y-Deri offers high quality fresh food, real ales, fine wines and spirits, along with 6 luxury letting rooms. We feel the turnover could be further increased by embarking on a modest marketing campaign. Our client has gained an enviable reputation and is well-supported by the local community. There is a comprehensive website in place advertising the business and services provided. The premises are well-equipped to suit the trade and boast a spacious restaurant area and a commercial kitchen. The property has been fitted to a high standard and has been well-maintained throughout. We feel this represents an ideal opportunity to acquire an already thriving restaurant with tremendous scope for future development. Early negotiations with Preferred Commercial must come highly recommended.
